Story
Scout is a loving, loyal companion who forms a strong bond with her person. She thrives on attention and enjoys daily walks just as much as relaxing at home by your side. Scout has a wonderful balance of energy—she can be playful and active when it’s time for fun, but she’s equally happy settling in for a quiet, laid-back day. Scout would do best in a home where she can be the only pet, as she prefers having her space and her person all to herself. Because she can be a bit protective of her food and toys, she would also be best suited for a home without young children. Scout is currently on Fluoxetine to help manage anxiety, and she does very well with this support. Her routine is simple, and she continues to thrive with structure and consistency. In the right environment, Scout is an incredibly sweet, devoted dog who will make a loyal and loving companion.

Story
Meet Eleven Yes, you read that right… he came from a house in Texas with 11 dogs and guess where he fell in line when they decided it was too many. Foster mom decided to call him Jasper because Eleven did not seem to be the best name around and he definitely responds to it. This sweet 4-year old boy husky/shepard mix is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He is potty trained and knows how to sit, give his paw, and lay down. He may be on the bigger side but he still thinks he's a “lap” dog and likes to curl up next to you on the couch! He is your typical husky though and does not like to be contained. So it would be extremely beneficial if you have experience with the breed and training him with separation and containment of a house/room. It’s suggested to have a fenced in backyard and not be in an apartment. He weighs just shy of 60 lbs.  He is great with children as his foster mom has five nieces that live in the area that he has met and done well with ages 6-15.  Having another dog may be helpful for him when you aren’t home but having someone home more often than not may be best for him. This boy deserves the and can absolutely give someone so much love.  Applications for Eleven can be submitted at www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt ##2749171##

Story
Meet Pearl 5 years old Alaskan Husky/Mix 45 pounds of fluffy energy and personality Professional shoe collector Pearl is the total package — sweet, smart, adventurous, and always ready for her next outing! This gorgeous girl absolutely LOVES being outside. Whether she’s soaking up the sunshine, rolling in the grass, or watching the world go by from the window, Pearl is happiest when she’s exploring life around her. This energetic husky girl would thrive in an active home that can give her plenty of exercise, enrichment, and adventures. She’s incredibly smart and already knows: Sit Waits patiently for her harness Gentle treat manners Crate trained Pearl walks nicely on a harness, enjoys playing fetch, and LOVES car rides. She happily hops in and watches the world outside like it’s her own personal movie. Her favorite hobby though? Sneaking off with shoes and slippers and proudly bringing them back to her blanket. Pearl is very curious about critters outside and gets excited when she spots other dogs on walks or through the window, so continued training and structure will help this smart girl shine even brighter. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, active, intelligent best friend with lots of personality and fluffy husky charm… Pearl may just be your perfect match. (143)   ##2748242##
