Story
Sansa is a very good girl! I acquired her from an Amish breeder in February of this year. She is 9 months old and has AKC papers. Sansa was very easy to potty train and likes to have one particular area when she goes to the bathroom. She knows several commands including “sit”, and “wait”. She still needs work on going for walks. She loves her soccer ball and running around the backyard. She has only played with the neighbors dog and has been to a boarding kennel once. She is good with other dogs as far as I’ve seen. She also has been good with my cat. She has an outdoor kennel as well as an indoor kennel. They can be included with her at her new home if needed. She is current on all her shots and takes nexguard monthly. She has not been spayed yet as she is only 9 months old. Breeder experts suggest waiting until 12-18 months old or after her first heat in order to allow full bone and joint growth.

Story
Meet Eleven Yes, you read that right… he came from a house in Texas with 11 dogs and guess where he fell in line when they decided it was too many. Foster mom decided to call him Jasper because Eleven did not seem to be the best name around and he definitely responds to it. This sweet 4-year old boy husky/shepard mix is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He is potty trained and knows how to sit, give his paw, and lay down. He may be on the bigger side but he still thinks he's a “lap” dog and likes to curl up next to you on the couch! He is your typical husky though and does not like to be contained. So it would be extremely beneficial if you have experience with the breed and training him with separation and containment of a house/room. It’s suggested to have a fenced in backyard and not be in an apartment. He weighs just shy of 60 lbs.  He is great with children as his foster mom has five nieces that live in the area that he has met and done well with ages 6-15.  Having another dog may be helpful for him when you aren’t home but having someone home more often than not may be best for him. This boy deserves the and can absolutely give someone so much love.  Applications for Eleven can be submitted at www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt ##2749171##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Young, energetic, smart, loyal, and just a little bit of a busybody — meet Buzz! Buzz is a young guy with energy to spare and a big personality to match. He’s looking for an active human who wants a true adventure buddy and understands that a dog like Buzz needs more than a couple of quick walks around the block. He wants to DO things! Long walks, hiking, exploring, fetch in a fenced yard, training classes, scent work, agility… Buzz is ready to clock in! His ideal home will give him plenty of physical exercise and opportunities to use his busy brain. Because when Buzz doesn't have an appropriate outlet for all that energy, he can get a little antsy — and a bored Buzz is not necessarily the Buzz you want running the meeting.  Buzz can take a little time to warm up to new people, but luckily, he has discovered one of life's greatest shortcuts to friendship:   FOOD. He is incredibly treat motivated, which makes building trust and working on training both easier and fun. Once Buzz decides you're his person, you've got yourself a loyal best friend for life. He bonds deeply with his people and loves being by their side. Buzz + Other Animals Buzz has reportedly lived with cats and did well with them. His previous home reported that he would simply ignore the cats and even allowed them to rub against him. Since becoming a Diamond, Buzz has also spent time around several social dogs and has done well. He can be a little rough-and-tumble when playing, but he's also perfectly capable of peacefully coexisting with other dogs when it's not playtime. Because Buzz is currently working through some pent-up energy and continuing to build his social skills, we feel a home without young children is the best fit for him right now. Buzz + Training Buzz is a smart guy who needs structure, consistency, and clear expectations. He's already completed a board-and-train program working on manners and social skills and did great with handlers he knew and trusted. Like many young, energetic dogs, though, new environments can be challenging. When he's surrounded by unfamiliar sights, sounds, smells, and distractions, Buzz can lose focus and become a little... bossy. His ideal human will be someone who is willing to continue his training, give him clear direction, and lovingly hold him accountable. Buzz doesn't need someone who expects him to figure everything out on his own — he needs someone who will show him the way and consistently follow through. His adoption will include follow-up sessions with his current trainer, so his new family will have support as they continue building on everything Buzz has learned. And now for the really important stuff… What's in Buzz? His Wisdom Panel DNA results are in, and apparently Buzz is basically a Canine United Nations. 48% Siberian Husky 18% Labrador Retriever 10% American Pit Bull Terrier 8% Boxer 5% American Bulldog 2% Alaskan Malamute 2% Rottweiler 2% German Shorthaired Pointer 2% German Shepherd 1% American Staffordshire Terrier 1% Golden Retriever 1% Chihuahua So, basically, Buzz is 48% Husky, 18% Lab, and 100% Buzz. If you're looking for an active, intelligent dog who will keep you moving, challenge you to keep up with your training game, and become incredibly loyal once you've earned his trust, Buzz is ready to meet you.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. ► We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation ► We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment.
