Story
The Husky Titan came with a buddy named Lucy. Lucy is in rough shape and will only be rehoming Titan unless someone is willing to take on Lucy as well. Titan is 9, Lucy is 10. Titan is friendly and calm. He does not get along with any other animals that are not a dog. His previous owner is getting evicted and can no longer care for the dogs. I picked them up to continue to feed and water them. I have to surrender Titan due to the numerous small animals I have in my home. The previous owner did have small children as the dogs and the kids grew up together. Titan is sweet and loves to be pet. He comes when called.

Story
Meet Aspen (fka Whitney)! We rescued Aspen after she was abandoned in a tiny room with another dog and cat at a drug house. Aspen is available for adoption again due to no fault of her own, her current owners have a busy schedule and would love to find a home for Aspen that can give her more time and attention. She will be staying with them until we can find her that perfect home! Aspen is a happy, playful girl like most young dogs are! She currently lives with 3 children whom she absolutely adores. Aspen also lives with another female dog, and she does well with the dog. Due to her past history, she sometimes has issues with sharing toys and food with other dogs (she would prefer to eat with no other dogs around). She also has a high prey drive so she would do best in a house without any small animals. Aspen is crate trained, potty trained, spayed, and updated on all her vaccines. Since she is a husky, we require that she go to someone who has breed experience or even someone that has experience with high energy dog breeds. If you do not have either of these, you will not be considered for adoption. If you do, please feel free to reach out to meet this good girl and make her a part of your family!

Story
King is a 5 year old Husky mix weighing around 40lbs. His story is a tear jerker and when we heard it, we had to bring him along with another dog we pulled from a shelter in NJ. King was surrendered in March of 2023 after the families new landlord put in place a no dog policy leaving them no choice but to surrender their beloved dog or lose their home. The shelter manager said it was the most heartbreaking surrender she had ever witnessed and that it was clear how much this family loved their dog. Shortly after, King shut down completely. He stopped eating, wouldn’t go outside, and was incredibly distrusting of all people. Though he improved within his year there, he was still too nervous to be considered adoptable and despite reaching out to 20 some rescues, none stepped up for him. King is now the poster child for how much a different environment can do for a dog. By his second switch over on transport he was wagging his tail, greeting everyone, sniffing around confident as ever and ready to explore the world. King loves hanging out with other easygoing dogs, enjoys the company of cats, eats all of his food with a little bribe (a small amount of wet food mixed in) and has loved meeting new people. He is crate trained and potty trained when on a consistent routine. He loves going for walks but gets excited and is working on his loose leash walking skills. He sometimes wants to mark in new places but we anticipate this behavior will get better after his neuter in July. He does need an adopter who can listen to him and respect his space when needed (for example, he does not like to be picked up or pet/touched abruptly) so he is looking for a home without young children as his only requirement. Please note, King is only available on a foster to adopt basis until his neuter in July. If you’re interested in fostering or adopting, please fill out an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt *If you have previously submitted an application for another dog who is pending or has been adopted, you can email us with your full name and phone number and ask us to process your application for another dog or general pre-approval instead*

Story
Bella is a 6 year old spayed husky that we received about a year ago from a random Facebook post. She is a ball of energy and very playful. She loves being outside and swimming in her kiddie pool. She has never been aggressive towards people or even strangers. We believe she does need a home where she is the only dog. She is protective over toys and food/treats and wants them all to herself. She is also an escape artist and we believe she would benefit from having a lot of room to run, just not around town.
