Meet Siri Siri came into rescue after she whelped her pups in a cow barn. She was an excellent momma. After weaning her pups she needed to be treated for heartworms.. She has now finally been spayed and ready for a new home. She is dog selective. Does fine with younger pups and adult dogs that are not bouncing in her face or confronting her. She is not cat friendly. She is very people friendly and loves to go for walks. She would do best with children 10 yrs and older. Siri is about 3 yrs old and 65 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $400 Fill out an application @ www.saveamomrescue.com and be sure to notify your vet that we will be calling for a reference.

Meet Raven This poor girl was used strictly for breeding, tied up in the backyard with multiple other dogs for the same purpose. She is only 1 & 1/2 yrs old and now learning what house life is like. She is extremely dog friendly, but no cats. She crates well and is working on leash training. She would really benefit from a fenced yard. She is 45 lbs., spayed, microchipped, current vaccinations, 4dx parasite screen, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prev. Snowy is a fun-loving excitable, anxious Siberian husky who gets along with most other dogs. A good home for him would be an active household, he is high energy but good with kids. He does on long car trips, up to cross country, he just takes some time to settle in. Going with adopting him will be a harness, a leash, his food bowls , his industrial kennel and some of his favorite toys. I just want him in a good home which I can no longer provide. Meet COOPER, an almost 5 year old Siberian Husky who found himself at the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH when his family could no longer care for him. His world may have changed, but COOPER is trying not to let it affect that big Husky smile or his rather impressive opinion of himself. COOPER lived with a little child and was very good with and tolerant of him. Like any respectable gentleman, he does have his limits, though, and when the small human exceeded COOPERs daily allotment of nonsense, hed give a bark to say the days festivities needed to come to a conclusion. COOPER loves cats, maybe too enthusiastically for some felines since he enjoys chasing them to play, unaware that some cats dont appreciate a recreational activity that includes being chased by a big Siberian Husky. When it comes to other dogs, COOPER does better with calm canines who dont have to run the show. The crown in COOPERs imaginary kingdom fits his head perfectly so why should he share it? A meetngreet with your dog will be necessary. With people, COOPER is a social butterfly. He loves making new friends. No reason to be aloof if it means there are more humans to shower him with attention. COOPER does seem to suffer a bit from a breed identity crisis. Someone might have to explain to him that hes a Husky, not a Beagle. Put that nose to the ground and hell sniff, follow, and investigate every last scent as if he was hired by the FBIs Canine Forensics Unit. COOPER is energetic and strong, and loves to run. A 4 foot fence is less of a barrier and more of a minor inconvenience. He can scale one with ease, so his future family needs to make sure he will have a secure way to enjoy the outdoors. Large and in charge, consider adding COOPER to your family. Hes housebroken and scheduled to be neutered this month. Harrison County Dog Pound. 82900 Toot Rd. Cadiz, OH 43950. Story
Duke is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves attention, hikes, walks, brushing, scratches, tug-of-war, and spending time with his people. He is crate trained, can be left home alone during the workday, and knows basic commands like sit, down, and come. He's smart, trainable, and would thrive with someone who enjoys working with dogs and getting outdoors. I'm rehoming Duke because what was originally supposed to be a temporary arrangement has become permanent, and I can't give him the time, exercise, and training he deserves. To be successful, Duke needs an experienced owner. He can be vocal around children and has a history of warning nips when pushed beyond his comfort level, particularly around nail trimming and paw handling. He has also shown aggression toward a couple of adult male dogs in the past, so careful introductions and management are important. Duke isn't a dog for every home, but for the right persohe's a loyal companion with a lot of love to give.

Story
I got Ferdinand when he was a puppy. He spent a lot of time with me at my warehouse job, getting plenty of exercise and outdoor time. I no longer have a job where i can take him, and don’t have the energy or time between my growing young family and work to give him the exercise he needs. He used to snuggle with our other dog before he passed away, and nuzzles our cat. He can be rambunctious and likes to roughhouse from time to time, but also loves to snuggle in bed. He is very vocal and will have no issue arguing over who is in the right when he wants something. We love Ferdinand with our whole hearts, but it is not fair to him how little attention, patience, and exercise we can give him. He is good with cats and loves to play with dogs but needs room to run. He is good with children, just needs to be reminded they are not big enough to play rough with. We have never had an issue with aggression. Looking for someone, preferably with an active lifestyle, or at least room for him to run.
