 This sweet 8 1/2 month old girl has been in boarding and training for 3 weeks, and is doing great. She seems to really thrive having other dogs around to love on and play with, so we are asking for friendly dogs in her new home. She has learned sit, down, and stay like the little champ she is! We do not know how she will do with cats though, and we are asking for older children only. If you would  like to be considered to adopt this beautiful girl, don't delay! Or if you would like to foster this girl, right out of Board and Train, Please tell us. She would really appreciate getting into a home for awhile before adopted.  Her adoption fee is $200, and includes all vetting. Spay, vaccines, microchip, flea tick and heartworm prevention, and endless love from a rescued dog! Meet Siri Siri came into rescue after she whelped her pups in a cow barn. She was an excellent momma. After weaning her pups she needed to be treated for heartworms.. She has now finally been spayed and ready for a new home. She is dog selective. Does fine with younger pups and adult dogs that are not bouncing in her face or confronting her. She is not cat friendly. She is very people friendly and loves to go for walks. She would do best with children 10 yrs and older. Siri is about 3 yrs old and 65 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Meet Raven This poor girl was used strictly for breeding, tied up in the backyard with multiple other dogs for the same purpose. She is only 1 & 1/2 yrs old and now learning what house life is like. She is extremely dog friendly, but no cats. She crates well and is working on leash training. She would really benefit from a fenced yard. She is 45 lbs., spayed, microchipped, current vaccinations, 4dx parasite screen, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prev. Freddy is a 3 year-old male Husky mix. Freddy came in with his brother Draco, but he is not good with other animals and will need to be the only animal in his home. He loves his toys, and his playful spirit will keep you entertained for hours! Freddy walks very well on a leash, and even better on a harness! He likes going on walks, but he will need to stop you a couple times because petting him is more important than anything else. Freddy is a very simple dog who knows what he wants in life, spray cheese, blankets, and a loving home. He isn't very photogenic, but we swear he is even cuter in person. If you don't believe us come check him out yourself! Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

Draco is a 2 yr old Male Husky. He is very friendly. But does not do well with other animals. He was adopted and returned due to not being housebroken. Draco is probably one of the most affectionate dogs you will ever meet. He would need a home without other animals and would need training on the housebreaking and basic manners. Draco is the most affectionate boy there is, he will sit at your feet forever as long as you are rubbing his belly or rubbing his ears. He looks as if he is always smiling. Draco has 2 favorite squeaky pig toys that he likes to carry around. Come in and meet this handsome always smiling boy today. Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). Meet Twisted!Twisted is a three-year-old Siberian Husky mix weighing about 45 pounds, with a soulful gaze and a heart that just needs a little time to shine. He can be sensitive and somewhat shy when meeting new people, so he appreciates slow, respectful introductions that allow him to feel safe and comfortable. Because of this, we’re recommending that any children in his forever home be around 10–13 years old or older and able to understand his need for space at first.Once Twisted warms up, his sweet and affectionate personality truly blossoms. He loves cuddle sessions just as much as a good play session and enjoys bonding closely with his people. When he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal, loving, and eager to be by your side.When it comes to other dogs, Twisted can sometimes come on a bit forward or unsure during introductions, which can make him feel uncomfortable. However, he does show potential to live with another canine companion.
