Missy is a beautiful 1.5-year-old Husky mix who was found as a stray. She is incredibly sweet, loving, playful, and full of personality. She’s a goofy, affectionate girl who loves cuddles and being close to her people. Missy has plenty of energy and will need a home that can give her the exercise, playtime, and attention she needs. She’s also quite the athlete and can jump a standard chain-link fence, so a secure yard and supervision outside are important. Misty would thrive in a home with adults and older children and she loves meeting new people. She can get so excited that she jumps up to say hello, so she’ll benefit from continued work on her manners, this is also a great way to bond with your new forever friend! She is leash trained and kennel trained but because she is part husky we recommend getting an escape proof crate! At the end of the day, Missy loves to settle in and sleep next to her human, another dog, or comfortably in her crate. She’s loving, goofy, smart, energetic, cuddly, and sure to keep you smiling. Missy is looking for a family who is ready for a buddy to go on long walks, structure, and lots of snuggles. In return, she has so much affection and personality to give.

Finn is a shadow dog through and through, he’s very curious and always wants to know what you’re up to and how to be involved. He is a snugglebug, he’d love to sleep in the bed with you at night, and would be a great TV companion on a sick day. Finn is young, so he still enjoys his play sessions, learning new things, and lick mats or kongs. But after a little romp around he settles very well, and often enjoys just sitting outside. He responds well to a routine, I think he can tell time! Finn has been around groups of people and dogs. He used to attend doggy daycare and was reported to have exceptional dog social skills. He adapts his energy to his furry friends, and takes body language cues amazingly well. Sometimes he can be a bit weary of men entering your home, but give your guests some treats and he comes around. He bonds very strongly with one person, and wants to be wherever you are, it makes him aloof to others and a loyal companion. Sometimes he wants to be so close that he will join you in the shower, He LOVES water! He improves quick, and is definitely one of the best behaved teenagers I’ve had! He has made great progress on his crate and leash skills in just a few short days. He also rides AMAZING in the car! Finn would fit in great with someone who wants “scary dog privilege” but wrapped in the sweetest baby boy. Who doesn’t mind having a devoted follower, someone who likes the occasional adventure, and settling in for some snuggles, or maybe someone looking for a playful and respectful companion for their dog.

Story
A buddy from work needed a temporary home for Adah. I took her in and have had her for about 2 months; however, due to my busy schedule, I have not been able to take care of her as often as needed. She is a good girl who barely barks compared to other huskies. She loves to play and is highly energetic. I've had no issues with her and would hate to see her go, but she deserves a family who can give her all the attention she needs. If time allows ill take her in to get her shots done as the previous owner told me recently that she does not have any shots done.

    This is Bernie! He's about 8 months old, 50+ pounds and just a silly happy pup. From being a bit nervous of his new foster family, he's really started to show his big personality! He loves toys, running around and laying in the grass and sun, curling up on the couch with the humans, and is potty and crate trained! He knows "sit", "shake", "situp", "down", "crate" and we are working on "leave it" and getting better on a leash! So far he's done great with some basic training and he is a sweet, happy, loving guy that is good with other dogs, kids, and cats(he just REALLY wants to be friends with the cats)! ##2708529##
