Meet Reggie Rhage! Reggie is probably a husky, malamute and super mutt mix. He’s 3 years old and 58 pounds of down to earth good ole' country boy! His foster mom says that Reggie loves to play with dogs of all sizes and loves to spend time outdoors with his humans. She also says that Reggie is a lover of life and everything it has to offer....children, adults and dogs! Reggie has not been cat tested at this time. Reggie's foster mom says that he does well on the leash and is perfectly house and crate trained. He has never had an accident and is very quiet in the house and in his crate. He enjoys his meals and treats in his crate as well. Reggie would love to go for long hikes and play at the dog park. Reggie does not seem to play with many toys but loves a good marrow bone! He is a gentle soul looking for a soft place to crash with a lot of outdoor time. He is waiting for his forever family to share his love of life! Meet Hattie, a sweet yet spunky girl that will show you all the love that special need fosters can possibly offer. When we say they are special, Hattie is a testament to everything these animals have to offer. Hattie is around a year old, weighs 30 pounds, and has something called hydrocephalus. She is also blind, but that doesn’t slow her down at all! Hattie is spayed, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped! Hattie was born with something called hydrocephalus – fluid on her brain. She takes two meds daily, and has never suffered a seizure since being in our care. Hattie loves life! For the most part, other than looking a little different and not being able to see, Hattie is a typical puppy that loves hanging out outside with her doggy friends. She can be a little uncertain of new dogs, just until she gets to know them, especially ones that get in her face. In those cases all she wants to is to have her space and she will check them out and before long be playing right alongside of them. Her condition makes it hard to potty train, but she does really well when out in the house, as long as she goes outside often. Hattie LOVES squeaky toys! Like LOVES LOVES LOVES them! Hattie lives with foster siblings of all sizes and ages and does great with everyone. She gets excited in new situations, but she just loves life and wants life to love her back. She lives with cats and honestly really doesn’t know they exist since she can’t see them. Hattie really hasn’t worked on leash training, but we are sure she would be up to the challenge! She has met kids and has done great with then, however, high energy children do cause her to get excited. Hattie deserves a family to call her own and that will accept her for being just a tiny bit different! Meet Sammy! He is a 4 years old, 60 lbs Husky mix. This handsome hunka love has it all - brains, bronze and beauty! He's super smart and witty! He's a great communicator who won't miss an opportunity to tell you all about himself, in typical husky fashion! Sammy is an intellectual and can sometimes present a little "shy" at first, but once he comes out of his shell, he's all over you! He's a bouncy, excitable guy who's very happy about life - so we think he'd probably do best in a home with older children. He has done great with older kids (8+ yrs) that know how to respect their dog friends. He ADORES his people and craves to be touched and petted. His favorite spots are his chin and chest, which will surly make him show you his gorgeous smile! He is house and kennel trained (although he may complain a little about the kennel) and has learned how to use a doggy door. He has done great with learning his manners. He loves other dogs, big and small, and enjoys being outside and running around the backyard with his doggy friends. We're unsure how he may be with cats. Sammy came to us with a noted history of seizures; however, we haven't seen any since he's been with us! He is currently taking medication as a precaution but our vet team is slowing reducing the dosage to see if there are any changes. Since he does have a history of seizures, he will likely need to remain on some medication for life. This handsome boy is a true gem and would make a great addition to almost any dog-loving home! Fuse is a fantastic dog who loves to play fetch. He's very loving and likes to play outside. Fuse loves getting his back scratched and will curl up against your legs. He will wrap his front paws around your legs and give hugs, and he gives sweet kisses and sits on command. He loves to play with ice. Good with other dogs and he'd love to have a dog brother or sister. Sister would be preferred :) No kitties for this boy though. Crate trained. He is a little mouthy (when playing he uses his mouth like other dogs play with each other) so the children in the home should be teens or older. Adoption fee for all dogs over 4 months is $200.00 each, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (including all puppy boosters for puppies under 4 months), worming, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip and collar/leash/tags.
