Story
This beauty is Luna Lu and her friend is Ghost! They were rescued together and are very bonded, so much so, that they need to be adopted as a pair. Luna Lu is an approximately 14-month-old female Husky/Collie mix who weighs around 50 lbs. She was found as a stray with Ghost and never claimed. Luna Lu is a girl with an obsession for belly rubs! Luna Lu is affectionate and well mannered. She gets along with other dogs but is a little shy at first. She tends to play for a couple minutes then lays down like she had a hard day at work. Miss Luna would prefer to have a home with access to a backyard! She loves to get her tan on in the sun. Needs a securely fenced (6-foot) backyard. She also knows sit and shake. She will show you her cool tricks for some belly rubs in return. Luna does tap into her Husky side and will a-woo when she wants some love! Lunas dream home would be with her foster brother Ghost. Miss Luna is learning to enjoy car rides. She does well in the car, but she does need help getting in because she is afraid. If you’re looking for a low maintenance sweet little girl, Luna Lu is your girl! Luna Lu is crate, house, and leash trained. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. To adopt Luna Lu, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

Story
This beautiful 9-year-old Siberian Husky is the definition of resilience and sweetness. After finding herself lost and abandoned at the shelter, Stormy went into a foster home and has settled into life like a pro, integrating seamlessly with dogs of all sizes. She loves all people, especially women. She’s submissive, easygoing, and truly just wants to be close to her people.Stormy is a senior girl with so much love left to give. She enjoys walks (she’s a perfect girl on leash), relaxing in the backyard, cozy naps, beef liver treats, and—her favorite—belly rubs. She’ll happily follow you around the house just to see what you’re up to, and at night, she’s mastered the art of getting comfy right on the bed or couch. She does have some arthritis noted by the shelter, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit. What she really needs is a stable, loving home that understands the beauty and care of a senior dog. After experiencing 2 owners, she deserves a forever family who won’t give up on her.Stormy would thrive in a home with a 6 foot fenced backyard, another dog in the home, or with someone who is home often—she’s not meant to be alone all day. She’s an indoor girl who simply wants companionship and comfort.?? Fun fact: She will steal your breakfast if you leave it unattended!Stormy is truly a special soul, and it’s impossible not to fall in love with her. Interested in meeting Stormy? Story
Meet Midge. Midge came from a rough start—found injured and easily overlooked—but she’s left that life behind and is now thriving in her second chance at happiness. Today, she’s a bright, affectionate girl who is quickly winning everyone over. She’s a sweet, slightly goofy companion who loves staying close to her people. Whether she’s curled up beside you or happily asking to be carried (she firmly believes she’s lap-dog sized), Midge is at her happiest when she’s with someone she trusts. She has a gentle temperament, a soft coat, and an even softer heart. Midge gets along well with other dogs and cats, is working hard on her leash manners, and continues to make steady progress with training. She’s eager to learn and responds well to patience and consistency. At her core, Midge is simply looking for a safe, loving home where she can feel secure, be close to her people, and finally settle in for good.

Story
This is Bernie! He's about 4 months old, nearly 40 pounds and just a silly puppy. From being a bit nervous of his new foster family, he's really started to show his big personality! He loves toys, curling up on the couch with the humans, and is potty and crate trained! He knows "sit", "down", "crate" and working on "leave it". So far he's done great with some basic training and he is a sweet, happy, loving guy that is good with dogs, kids, and cats(he just REALLY wants to be friends with the cats)!Ideally his furever home would be with at least one confident dog sibling! ##2708529##

Story
Meet Patchouli, the gentle giant with a heart of gold! This 70-lb sweetheart is a smart, loyal companion who forms unbreakable bonds with his person. Once you've earned his trust, he is all about snuggling up and being by your side.   This well-behaved boy is potty trained, knows his commands, and respects household rules (he's a toy-chewer, not a furniture-chewer ).  Patchouli is a pro at coexisting with cats, and he's eager to show off his chill side.   His ideal home is one with experienced, adult-only vibes, a calm environment, and a committed handler who'll provide structure and love. He's looking for someone who'll understand his protective nature (he's a loyal guardian, not a brawler!) and work with him to build confidence.   If you're ready for a partner who's smart, loyal, and affectionate, Patchouli’s your guy! He's all about forming deep connections and living life with a best friend by your side.   Key highlights: - Loyal and loving companion - Potty trained and well-behaved - Cat-friendly with proper introductions - Needs experienced, adult-only home - Thrives on structure and clear boundaries   Could Patchouli be the missing piece to your happy home? ##1260477##
