Story
Meet Kaine! He is a sweet, adventurous young boy. He is timid at first, a bit nervous of new people but when he's comfortable his true personality shines through. Kaine loves to play fetch in the yard, and enjoys zooming around. He is a highly intelligent boy, and is super trainable. He may have some silly puppy moments but is easily redirected with treats and positive reinforcement. Kaine enjoys the company of other canine companions, and plays very nicely with all of the dogs he has interacted with in the shelter. That being said, he would do best in a house with either one female dog or by himself. He has not had any interaction with cats.Kaine has been microchipped, neutered, and is up to date on vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting Kaine, please call 705-878-4618 or email info@hskl.ca

Story
Hi, my name is Snow,Female - SpayedSiberian Husky MixApprox. 2 years oldHere's a bit of insight into my background and personality: I am in search for my forever home! I am free spirited, intelligent, independent, confident and clever! I prefer to make my own decisions but will listen to you if you make a good case. We're partners in this adventure. Treat me like one and we'll live happily ever after. My reactions to:Dogs & Cats - I can be selective with other furry friends. I prefer to be the only queen of the castleMeeting new people - I can be excited and bouncy when meeting new people therefore I may need some time to contain my excitement. Show me love and I'll be your best friend!Children - I don't have much experience around children. As I can be overly excited and bouncy, I may benefit from a home with older children.Obedience training - I've shown great obedience training, I even know how to sit, stay and shake paws.Leash walking - I've improved with my leash walking though still need some work with containing my excitementCar rides - unknown at this timeCrates/My kennel - I am still adjusting to my kennel though I've shown great improvement entering/exiting with ease. Though I'd much rather be out playing with youHouse trained - I do my best to hold my business until I am able to relieve myself outsideStressful situations - Depends on situationPlaytime - I love playtime! My favourite toys are balls and squeaky toys! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Sable Weight: 23.008 Age: 2yrs 2mths 0wks

Story
Hi, my name is Timber,Neutered MaleHusky x German Shepherd Mixapprox. 4 years oldHere's a bit of insight into my personality and background: I'm a very charming boy but am slightly shy. I'm in search for my forever home, I live a relaxed lifestyle and if it that's you too it must be meant to be! I may need some guidance to help me come out of my shell, treat me sweet and kind and I will blossom. My reactions to:Cats - I've lived in a home with cats though as I can be nervous and unsure of new things I would benefit with a slow calm introductionDogs - I can be anxious, nervous and potential territorial around other dogs, for the time being I'd prefer being the only canine in the homeMeeting new people - I can be slightly nervous and cautious when meeting new people, treat me kind and show me love and I'll come aroundChildren - I'm cautious around new things, with a slow calm introduction at my pace I could be their biggest cuddle buddy.Obedience training - I'm still learning and would benefit some extra time though I've shown great improvement during my time at the shelterLeash walking - I can display excitement and eagerness on my leash. I would benefit from some extra attention, but like everyone says practice makes perfect!Car rides - unknown at this timeCrates/My kennel - I am still adjusting to my kennel though I've shown great improvement entering/exiting with ease.
