Story
Meet Monty! This sweet husky mix was recently surrendered due to the owner not having enough time for him anymore. He is looking for a home with someone who is willing to work on socializing him, help him work through his anxiety, and be super patient with him! He can be shy at first and needs time to warm up to new people. He would prefer an active home, would be open to meeting older children who can give him plenty of space when he needs it. He would also be open to meeting other tolerant dogs, and we are unsure how he would do with cats.If you're interested in meeting me, I am located at the Danville PSPCA on Bloom Rd. -- open daily from 12:00 - 6:00 (no appointment needed - all people in the home required to meet the dog before going forward with adoption, along with any dogs in the home with proof of Rabies Vaccine & DHPP Vaccine) If you have any questions about him, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email us at Danville@PSPCA.org

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Saraph! This energetic sweetheart (born 10/1/21) loves rolling around in the grass under the sun at her foster home. This friendly girl is house trained and is working on building a positive association with her crate. She is good with other dogs and cats. Saraph thinks she is a small dog and loves to cuddle and try to sit in your lap. While she will play with toys, she prefers neck scratches and being as close to her owner as possible. Slow introductions are best when meeting smaller animals. Saraph has had a few experiences with children and appears to be gentle and patient with them.   In the morning, Saraph loves to speak. She will attempt to help with yardwork, keeping your grass down by munching on it. Always curious, Saraph enjoys sticking her nose in the air during car rides. Saraph is great on the leash and is working on not jumping at every squirrel that runs past. Saraph is food motivated and picks up on cues very quickly. This intelligent girl loves a good puzzle.  This girl has everything going for her with the proper time and attention!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.  We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.  Thank you!April 25, 2024, 6:53 pm

Story
Maggie is a 1 year old Siberian Husky that loves other dogs. She loves to run and play with her friends. Maggie will need an adopter who is familiar with the husky breed and knows how they are. Huskies are escape artists. Maggie will need a fully fenced in yard and another dog to make things easier for her. Maggie is currently located in Auburn Pa but transport is available for an approved adopter or foster.  Maggie is great with kids as well. Maggie is current on all her vaccines, is microchipped but currently is on a spay hold due to complications from the anesthesia.  ##1428755##

Story
This sweet girl was very lucky to be found by a saint on St Patrick's day. She along with her 2 siblings are now safe in rescue and have started with the vetting process. They are quite talkative so we are thinking Husky mixes. They seem to be about 7 weeks old and will be ready to go to their forever homes 4-13th. They are probably going to be large dogs. If you are ready to add a puppy to your life you will need to submit your adoption application at funnyfarmpets.org You can read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works and see all the other adoptable pets. Adoption fee $399 Transport $200

Story
Meet Jax, a really great all around dog! His blue eyes reveal his husky heritage and his playfulness and affection will win your heart. Jax was an owner surrender through no fault of his own, they just had to move to an apartment complex that did not allow big dogs. We thought that he was a senior dog when we first looked at his teeth, but his molars are in good shape, so he's around 5-6. However, he has some broken and missing teeth in the front. We don't know what happed to them. His foster says "Jax is a low maintenance guy that loves two things above all else, his daily walks and playing with toys. He gets along with all the dogs and cats in our home and even puts up with the foster puppies. He can entertain himself, throwing a toy in the air by himself over and over and then catching it. He practically prances when trotting on his leash." Jax is great on a leash, loves spending time in a fenced in back yard and is very friendly even to people he does not know.
