Story
Our old, perfect, classy lady Daisy. Daisy is a 7-year-old mix who weighs approximately 40 lbs and is the sweetest girl. You wouldn’t know she was 7 years old, as she is a puppy by heart. With Daisy you get a cuddling, loving older dog demeanor with the playfulness and happiness of a puppy. And almost no training necessary! Daisy is house and crate trained. Daisy gets along great with other dogs and would do wonderful in a home with another dog to keep her company. She absolutely loves people and is the first one to greet anyone that is coming through the door or gate. Daisy was found roaming the streets of south Texas by Mexico; She was super skinny and you could just see the defeated look in her face. Thankfully, a good Samaritan saw her and couldn’t just turn away from her. She has been in the care of a sanctuary for 6 months now. She is a very relaxed dog. She just wants to lay out in the sun, play a little bit, relax and just hang out. Daisy would do great in a home that is a bit more relaxed and wants a dog that is very casual but VERY loving. She does great on car rides! Her favorite thing to eat are hot dogs. The foster says one of her favorite things about Daisy is that she doesn’t destroy toys, so all toys survive around Daisy, SO FAR. She doesn’t really know commands, but she loves to follow you around, and just wants to find her perfect humans. Please consider giving old lady Daisy a chance at her forever home. Daisy is fixed (spayed/neutered), heart worm positive (they have received the 30-day course of antibiotics and need to stay on heart worm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested then), current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. PLEASE READ BELOW: To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. Story
Lobo is a stunning 2-year-old male husky that weighs approximately 56 lbs. Lobo came to us from the streets of south Texas. He was found roaming the streets of South Texas a few months ago, starving and missing half of his hair. You couldn’t even tell he was a husky. Thankfully, a sanctuary had room and took him in. It took some time to get Lobo better as he had multiple skin infections he had to battle – but now Lobo is much better and on the prowl for the perfect home! This awesome boy absolutely loves other dogs; big and small. He is currently being fostered in a sanctuary in south Texas, along the Texas/Mexico border. This amazing sanctuary is only a short term stop for this fur-baby until their forever home is found. He has the most gorgeous sky-blue eyes that just stop you in your tracks. Lobo loves to have conversations with anyone and everyone. He just talks up a storm every chance he gets. If you’re bored, Lobo will be the one to brighten your day up. He is mildly active – he loves to go outside and run around, but he loves just as much to come inside (to the AC of course!) and just relax. When it’s nice outside, he enjoys sunbathing and laying out. Lobo would do best with someone that loves the outdoors and Lobo loves them too. He loves to spend time with his person, not just be left alone. When he comes inside, he comes right next to you and cuddles up. Lobo is very loyal. He is crate trained and knows the word “kennel” when said to him. With some consistency and patience, he will easily learn other commands. He is too smart for his own good. Lobo enjoys car rides! While he is vocal, he is the biggest sweetheart. He welcomes strangers with open paws, and a few kind words. If you think you can give Lobo the best home he deserves, please consider filling out an application. Lobo is fixed (spayed/neutered), heart worm positive (they have received the 30-day course of antibiotics and need to stay on heart worm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested then), current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
