Story
Lobo is a stunning 2-year-old male husky that weighs approximately 56 lbs. Lobo came to us from the streets of south Texas. He was found roaming the streets of South Texas a few months ago, starving and missing half of his hair. You couldn’t even tell he was a husky. Thankfully, a sanctuary had room and took him in. It took some time to get Lobo better as he had multiple skin infections he had to battle – but now Lobo is much better and on the prowl for the perfect home! This awesome boy absolutely loves other dogs; big and small. He is currently being fostered in a sanctuary in south Texas, along the Texas/Mexico border. This amazing sanctuary is only a short term stop for this fur-baby until their forever home is found. He has the most gorgeous sky-blue eyes that just stop you in your tracks. Lobo loves to have conversations with anyone and everyone. He just talks up a storm every chance he gets. If you’re bored, Lobo will be the one to brighten your day up. He is mildly active – he loves to go outside and run around, but he loves just as much to come inside (to the AC of course!) and just relax. When it’s nice outside, he enjoys sunbathing and laying out. Lobo would do best with someone that loves the outdoors and Lobo loves them too. He loves to spend time with his person, not just be left alone. When he comes inside, he comes right next to you and cuddles up. Lobo is very loyal. He is crate trained and knows the word “kennel” when said to him. With some consistency and patience, he will easily learn other commands. He is too smart for his own good. Lobo enjoys car rides! While he is vocal, he is the biggest sweetheart. He welcomes strangers with open paws, and a few kind words. If you think you can give Lobo the best home he deserves, please consider filling out an application. Lobo is fixed (spayed/neutered), heart worm positive (they have received the 30-day course of antibiotics and need to stay on heart worm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested then), current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. PLEASE READ BELOW: To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed ($595) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the Northeast. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks: Albany, NY – Only one transport company goes here, once a month Wells, VT and Brattleboro, VT Nashua, NH – Only one transport company goes here, times vary Willington, CT - Stamford, CT - Dayville, CT Steubenville, OH – Cincinnati, OH – Grove City, OH Grove City, PA and Washington, PA – THESE STOPS ARE PENDING Ridgefield, NJ and Mt Laurel, NJ Emmitsburg, MD and Elkton, MD Falls Church, VA and Glenn Allen, VA We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home. With an approved application, we do put you in touch with the Texas foster who has the doggy for you to make sure the pup is the perfect fit.

Story
Kaily is a gorgeous blue husky mix that is adventurous and amazing! Kaily is approximately 1 year old and weighs right around 50 lbs. Her shockingly blue eyes will stop you in your tracks. They match perfectly with her grey/blue coloring and will win you over instantly. Kaily was living outside of a dollar store most of her life with her siblings along the Texas/Mexico border. Her siblings slowly disappeared, but Kaily stayed. The employees would feed them and give them water as they could, but they found shelter in the nearby grass. This girl has never known what it’s like to have a family. She is the last of her known siblings to survive. Parents are unknown. Kaily loves other dogs! She is more submissive than anything, and would thrive in a home with a dog that shows her the ways of the world. Most husky mixes don’t get along with cats, but Kaily does! She has no interest in kitties and would do great in a home with them, with proper introductions. She walks great on a leash. Kaily is great with children and would love a kid or 2 to play with! She has not had much consistent training and would need someone that is more patient and willing to work with her. Having lived outside behind a dollar store most of her life was not her choice, and we just want to find her the most perfect home that has the care and love to give. Kaily is young, so a medium/higher active home is preferred for her. The foster can find no fault in her, besides needing the proper training. If you think you can give Kaily the best home, please consider applying to adopt her. Kaily is spayed, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. Story
There is something unforgettable about Ozzy. Maybe it's his stunning crystal blue eyes set against his black and cream colored fuzzy coat and unique markings that make everyone stop for a second look, or maybe it's the joyful, laidback affectionate personality that shines through the moment you meet him. At just 3 months old and 18 pounds, this Huskey/Aussie mix boy has his whole life ahead of him, and he's searching high and low with Critter Cavalry to find the home he deserves. OZZY was born around the middle to first of May and we know nothing about his parents.  He was dropped off at a small rural Tennessee shelter and immediately the shelter director called Critter Cavalry.  He and his brother Rye (they look nothing alike) were picked up the next day and brought in to foster care with a family that has a 13 year and a 3 year old child.  Ozzy is the brother is as laidback as a Sloth. He just reads the room and then decides what his next move will be.  We love his charm and his lase faire attitude about life.  We think he must have Husky and Aussie in him but somehow the hustle and bustle of both of those breeds just never made it through to his personality DNA. He is wonderful with other dogs and the kids and he would be good with a cat or two if needed. He is a real snuggler that sleeps alot and navigates his daily hours with no real plan of action.  He just takes life as it comes.  He is being crate trained and learning the leash.  He is not housebroken yet as he has only been in our care for 2 weeks. Potty training is a process. > His foster family has quickly discovered what a wonderful dog he is. During early morning hours and late afternoon you will find Ozzy happily running through the yard before settling down for a well-earned nap beside his people. He is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and always looking for the next adventure. Like many puppies, Ozzy thrives when his mind is engaged and when he's included as part of the family. Whether it's hiking, training, playing fetch, or simply tagging along wherever life takes you, Ozzy would love to be there sharing those moments with his people. What Ozzy needs most isn't perfection—it's commitment. He's looking for an active home with someone who understands that young herding dogs flourish with exercise, positive training, and plenty of love. In return, he'll be the loyal, devoted companion. If you've been hoping to add a beautiful, intelligent, fun-loving best friend to your family, Ozzy may be exactly the one you've been waiting for. We are looking for a fenced yard since this big boy will be a 70 pound handsome boy.  His forever home is out there somewhere, and we can't wait to help him find it. If you think belongs with you, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to learn more about adopting this remarkable boy.       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 11, 2026, 6:13 pm

Story
Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own.  She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her.  She is crate trained and just fine.  She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings.  As cute as she is, they are not interested.  The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day.  Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection.  She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady!   Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her.  She is a beauty.   A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed.  She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way.  Please consider making this girl's Cinderella Story come true NOW!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 11, 2026, 6:13 pm
