Story
We have only had Max for a month, he is a big baby, trying to be a lap dog and very sweet, but we are realizing he is too powerful for us. He is almost 4 years old, he pulls when walked but is getting better, until he sees a wild animal. He is almost housebroken and paces in car rides. Loves to play, jump, pounce, and at times charge when gets over-excited. He even gets verbal when excited. Barks very little. He responds to very few commands. He is NOT food aggressive, and it is easy to take things from him that he shouldn't have. We do have him scheduled for neutering In February. Have ACA registration paperwork - Born 2/9/22 Rabies good till 8/2028. Bravecto for flea and tick - needs redone in January. He has a leash, bowls, collar, harness, toys, crate, kibble and homemade food. Also needs state dog tag. Very intellegent - got my attention to go to kitchen when I was burning food. Needs area to run and someone that is home most of the time -does not like being alone. hates crate

Story
Violet is a very sweet, calm, even-tempered dog. She does not have the high-energy of our other huskies. She is a cuddler and a lap dog. She has been raised with another husky, a malamute, and three children, ages 16, 12, and 2. Violet loves to be with people. She loves to snuggle and sit right up against her people and other dogs. Violet likes to go for walks and lay in the sun outside. Violet does very well with children and other dogs. She is calm in nature and would do well with anyone who gives her lots of attention. Violet has had dog training classes, and is easily trained. She loves to work for treats and attention. She walks well on a leash. Her only behavioral issue is that she has been known to escape as huskies do. She has dug under fences and has run through an electric/invisible fence several times. She would need to be in a home with a secure fenced-in-yard. Violet is up to date on all her physicals and vaccinations and has no medical issues.

Story
My name is Rex. I am a very handsome 2-year-old Husky mix and weigh 50.6 lbs. My birthday is 10/15/2021. I am UTD on my shots and neutered. I do need to learn how to potty outside but am super smart and with a little help feel I can master that. I have the cutest walk with a slight limp due to me having to have surgery to repair a dislocated elbow and torn ligaments. Sadly, I got hit by a car, but the good news is someone stopped to help me. Huskies are high energy pups who really enjoy the outdoors. They are very intelligent, playful, and smart dogs. If you enjoy going on walks and being outdoors Rex may be the dog for you. Since Rex doesn't like to share his humans, he would need to be the only dog in the home. Even though he doesn't like other dogs he is great and loves people. Please if you are interested in me get your application in today, there is no time to waste: You can go to www.hopeforhannahrescue.org or you can click the link below: The direct link to our application can be found here: https://ueodqi9fe3f.typeform.com/to/sFwghRQN If you have any problems call Suzi (717) 466-5968 and I will be happy to assist you. Story
Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years.   This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home.  She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done.  We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds.  We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them.  Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life.  She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside.  But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience.  This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people.  She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings.  Help us give Marley a true Cinderella story of rising from the neglect and abandonment she came from and let’s put her in a castle.  We want her to have a good life and all we need is a person with a rescue kind of heart.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm
