Story
Pudge is a handsome 4 year old, Husky looking for a loving and active home. Pudge was brought to our shelter when his original owners decided he was too much of a responsibility and surrendered him after having him for only a few short weeks.Pudge is friendly, enthusiastic, and full of energy. He needs to work on his manners as he continues to mature, but will make a wonderful dog in the right home with consistency and training. He will thrive in a best with a dog-savvy (preferably breed savvy) owner. He will need daily exercise and will do best in a home that establishes a routine that he can depend on. It is not required but a securely fenced yard will be best which will provide another outlet for play and physical activity. He would not do well in an apartment setting or in a home where he is left alone for long periods of time.He is open to meeting other dogs but would prefer a canine companion of similar size that will have the energy to play with him husky style. (No cats). He has been around children and is good around them, though a toddler may be knocked down by his exuberant antics. Pudge is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations. If interested in making him a part of your family, please go to our website and fill out a pre-approval form (which can be found under our ‘adoptable dog' section).

Meet Ghost! This fun guy is ready for his active new family to take him on grand adventures! He is your typical husky and is always on the go! Ghost is currently in boarding waiting for space here at the shelter or a loving family to take him home! He doesn't show any aggression with other dogs in boarding and when his brother was boarded with him they loved to run and play all day long! He does well in the fenced in area and comes when called.

Story
Who wants to adopt a whacky wierdo? HAHA! Bella is a Husky/Herding breed mix who we placed as a puppy. She was returned due to the owner having an illness and could no longer care for her. She has since been placed twice and returned for nipping. Bella has been in her current foster home for about 8 months and has had zero nipping but she does have some minor issues. Bella is cage aggressive. She is a dog where everything as to be on her terms. We will only place her in a dog savvy home that knows how to work with a quirky canine. She seems to show her weirdness when in a new home. Bella is housebroken, vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She does not like cats but is very playful with other dogs. Bella is crate trained and would do best with a fenced yard or an active family that will take her on walks. She might love hiking or lots of outdoor activities. No kids and no cats. Donations can be available for immediate use if sent to Northeast PA Pet Fund and Rescue via PayPal nepapetfund@gmail.com All adoption fees go towards getting the dog up-to-date on all shots, bordetella, spay/neuter, micro-chip, and all vet visits to get them healthy! Please text 570-357-8032 for more info or fill out an application on https://nepapetrescue.com/
