Mama Dough came to us as a stray with her nine light-colored puppies, which is how the “bread litter” got its name. Nearly all of her babies have now been adopted, and it is finally her turn to find a forever home of her own. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and deeply people-oriented. Mama Dough is super social and loves being out and about, happily soaking in attention wherever she goes. She has adjusted beautifully to life as an indoor dog and clearly enjoys the comfort and companionship that comes with it. She walks well on a leash and absolutely loves her neighborhood walks. While she has come a long way, she will still need continued training, structure, and a securely fenced yard, as she can be curious about exploring beyond boundaries. She sleeps great in her crate at night and is continuing to build confidence with daytime crating. Mama Dough would thrive in a loving home that offers patience, consistency, and plenty of inclusion, where she can be both an active companion and a devoted, affectionate best friend. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Stella is around 6 years old from what the vet said. I took Stella in from a family member that was going through hard times and could not keep her anymore. She's house trained, hardly ever barks. She will on occasion talk to you if she needs to go out real bad or is hungry. She's frequently socialized and goes to daycare at pawz n claw so she does well with other dogs. I have two small children and she does great with them. She does need someone with a fenced in yard as she is a runner or someone that has time to walk her on a leash.

Meet Lucius – Your Adventure Buddy with a Sweet Side Lucius is a 4.5-year-old Husky mix with the perfect balance of independence and affection. He enjoys the comfort of being inside and will happily nap near his people, but once he wakes up, he’s ready to explore! This boy loves being outdoors, whether it’s going for a walk or simply sitting outside on leash soaking in the fresh air and watching the world go by. True to his Husky roots, Lucius is energetic and absolutely loves to sniff everything. Walks are his favorite activity, and he thrives with regular outdoor time and mental stimulation. He does best on leash and is not reliable off leash unless he’s in a securely fenced yard. Lucius does well with small dogs and has lived peacefully with two little dogs, as well as cats. Like many dogs, he can be particular about high-value items and would do best with supervision around toys or special treats in a multi-dog home. With clear boundaries and structure, he continues to show what a sweet, loyal companion he is. Overall, Lucius is a sweetheart who just wants love, consistency, and a family that understands his need for movement and engagement. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys both cozy naps and outdoor adventures, Lucius might be your perfect match. He is being fostered in Texas, but can be transported.
