Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs   Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. After being rescued from an overcrowded backyard situation, this sweet boy has blossomed in foster care and is now ready to find his forever family.       Cubby has discovered the joys of life—walks, playtime, snuggles, and, most of all, people! He’s affectionate, smart, and always seems to be trying to understand everything around him with those expressive eyes. He’s especially great with children and loves being part of a family.       An energetic and athletic pup, Cubby thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, hiking, backpacking, playing fetch, running beside a bike, and splashing in the water. If you lead an active lifestyle, Cubby might just be your perfect match. And when the day is done? He’s happy to chill on his dog bed, content just being near his people.       Cubby currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog buddy—or as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise and enrichment.       Cubby is not just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, hiking partner, and forever friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. All he needs is a family who will give him the active, loving home he deserves.        Fostered in Tennessee       ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.May 15, 2025, 4:27 pm

Meet Teddy – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Dog Looking for His Person  Charlotte, NC | 6-Year-Old Orange Husky | &#226&#154&#150&#239&#184&#143 80 lbs of Loyalty & Love  Adopting Teddy isn’t just rescuing a dog—it’s gaining a one-of-a-kind best friend with a story, a soul, and so much love to give.  Teddy came from a tough past—rescued from a kill shelter, injured and neglected—but you’d never know it today. With medical care, a warm bed, and the love of his foster family, Teddy has blossomed into a strong, affectionate, and deeply loyal boy who’s ready to give his whole heart to the right person.  This stunning orange Husky is truly in his prime—healthy, happy, and thriving. He’s house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and lives for long walks (5+ miles a day? No problem!). He’s also a total goofball during playtime and ends each day curled up like a perfect donut on his bed, peaceful and content.  But what really makes Teddy special isn’t just his beauty or brains—it’s his soulful connection to his people. He doesn’t just want to live in your home—he wants to live in your heart. He’s food motivated, smart (knows sit, shake, off, and load), and endlessly devoted to those he trusts.  Teddy’s Dream Home:  A human or family who understands loyalty goes both ways A secure, fenced yard (he’s got Husky hops!) ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Active folks who love the outdoors and will give him the enrichment he thrives on A home without other pets—Teddy wants to be your one and only &#239&#184&#143 A patient heart, willing to let him warm up at his own pace  Teddy doesn’t 'talk' like some Huskies, but he speaks volumes with his body language and eyes. He’s gentle, protective, and loving—with a heart that’s ready to trust again.   The Opportunity of a Lifetime  Teddy has already proven how resilient and full of love he is. Now, he just needs someone to believe in him again. And in return? You get a loyal companion, an adventure buddy, a warm presence at your side—a dog who will change your life as much as you change his.  Reach out today to learn more or meet Teddy—he’s ready to find the home and heart he’s been waiting for.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Rogue! Hi, my name is Rogue but my friends call me Ro Ro. I am a ginger-colored husky mix, and I was born 9/13/2021. I came to the shelter with my brothers and sister, who have all moved onto their forever homes, way back in the fall of 2022. We were born and raised outside and were on our own, our momma did her best to care for us, but these "human" things were totally alien to me until we came to the shelter. I didn't really like them at first, I'd rather spend time hiding with my dog friends in my kennel, but after a while they wore me down with their yummy treats, and my doggy friends helped me see that they aren't too bad. Sometimes, they're even kind of fun to play with. I spent kind of a long time not trusting people, but my friends tell me that good things are worth waiting for. After spending lots of time in the kennels with other dogs, they moved me to this cool new room where I get to run around day and night with my best friends, and lots of new people come to visit me. I've found it's kind of fun to play keep away with the people, and when they give my friends treats, you bet I'm right there with them waiting for mine. I still prefer to be a little more independant than some of the dogs I know, but I've grown really fond of some people when I see them a lot. I think I'm actually ready to find one that I can call "mine" like my friends tell me they want. Some things I really like are toys, for sure, treats, and naps. If I had to pick a favorite toy, I'd probably say stuffed animals. Not that they last long, they're just so fun to tear apart! I also really like rolling around the herding ball they give us, that's pretty fun too. i am smart and will show my new human friends my many tricks i know once im comfortable with them. i know how to sit, lay, give paw, and come. More than anything, I'd love to go to a home with another dog or two, but I definitely want to meet them before I commit to living with them. As far as cats, I love cats! I love cats the same way I love stuffed animals. My people friends say this means I'm not allowed to live with any cats though. The little humans, or "kids", are okay, but I prefer when they're a little bigger and know when I want to be left alone. Anyway, I'm ready to find a home, do you want to help me?  Rogue is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $125. Rogue is considered to be a flight risk, so a fully fenced yard is required. Potential adopters may be subject to a home visit.  Interested? Call 615-446-7387. ##1530157##
