Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Simon is a big beautiful 58lb goof who loves attention and just wants to hang out by your side.  Simon was found with his brothers Alvin and Theodore on the side of a road as puppies.  The 3 brothers were in a high volume shelter and put on the euthanasia list at 4-6 months old due to capacity of care, fortunately we had a foster step up for all 3. His brother Theodore has been adopted but Alvin is still available!  After being picked up by Animal Control it was discovered that Simon had been hit by a car & his back left leg was broken. Since he was a large, young dog, we wanted to try to keep the leg instead of amputating it. So, after a few vet and specialist visits, he had the surgery needed to help stabilize his leg, and moves very well.. but won't be running any marathons, or doing any cross training.  He also needs to have his weight controlled so as to not exacerbate problems with his hip.   He can do a small amount of stairs, but does tire easily right now. He is still recovering and in the healing process.  Simon has been in foster since he was a puppy and while his foster mom absolutely loves him.. We would LOVE Simon to find his forever person that will give him the love and individual attention he deserves.  Located in Dickson, TN https://LastChancePetRescueInc.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=7215Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 28, 2026, 6:15 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Do you like beautiful brindle coats and stunning eyes? Meet Theodore! Th e o was previously adopted in June 2025  however due to his family moving, he was returned the beginning of F ebruary 2026.  Theodore was the 'smallest' of the 3 chipmunk brothers, but not anymore. He is a happy, active playful boy who loves affection (but needs to lose a few pounds). He loves to lean into you, so would be better with older kids he wont knock down.  He is housetrained, crate trained, neutered. Due to his size and playstyle, he would do best in a home with a dog his size and no cats  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 28, 2026, 6:15 pm

Story
Fen has spent far too many days watching the world from the end of a chain. When his owner moved away, this 6-year-old Lab/Husky mix was left behind on a lonely tie-out at an empty house, cared for only by kind neighbors who refused to let him be forgotten. They shared that Fen once lived indoors, but as his owner’s health declined, Fen’s life slowly shrank to neglect and isolation. Despite it all, Fen’s heart remains wide open.   This sweet boy is full of gentle enthusiasm and gratitude for every bit of attention. The moment he’s free to stretch his legs, Fen lights up — he loves to run, play, and feel the joy of simply being a dog again. He already knows how to sit, walks well on a leash, and shows just how smart and willing he is to listen and learn. Fen wants so badly to connect with people; he leans in for affection like he’s been saving up years of love to give.   Because he’s been forced to live outside for so long, he may need a little patience while relearning house manners and routine — but he’s had a home before, and he’s eager to understand again. Fen is currently underweight, a visible reminder of how he’s been failed, but also a hopeful sign of how much better his future can be with someone who truly cares.   Fen isn’t broken. He’s loving, loyal, and ready to bloom in the hands of a family who will never leave him behind again. All he needs now is a warm place to land, steady meals, and the promise that he’ll always belong.   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs   Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. Story
Meet Rogue! Hi, my name is Rogue but my friends call me Ro Ro. I am a ginger-colored husky mix, and I was born 9/13/2021. I came to the shelter with my brothers and sister, who have all moved onto their forever homes, way back in the fall of 2022. We were born and raised outside and were on our own, our momma did her best to care for us, but these "human" things were totally alien to me until we came to the shelter. I didn't really like them at first, I'd rather spend time hiding with my dog friends in my kennel, but after a while they wore me down with their yummy treats, and my doggy friends helped me see that they aren't too bad. Sometimes, they're even kind of fun to play with. I spent kind of a long time not trusting people, but my friends tell me that good things are worth waiting for. After spending lots of time in the kennels with other dogs, they moved me to this cool new room where I get to run around day and night with my best friends, and lots of new people come to visit me. I've found it's kind of fun to play keep away with the people, and when they give my friends treats, you bet I'm right there with them waiting for mine. I still prefer to be a little more independant than some of the dogs I know, but I've grown really fond of some people when I see them a lot. I think I'm actually ready to find one that I can call "mine" like my friends tell me they want. Some things I really like are toys, for sure, treats, and naps. If I had to pick a favorite toy, I'd probably say stuffed animals. Not that they last long, they're just so fun to tear apart! I also really like rolling around the herding ball they give us, that's pretty fun too. i am smart and will show my new human friends my many tricks i know once im comfortable with them. i know how to sit, lay, give paw, and come. More than anything, I'd love to go to a home with another dog or two, but I definitely want to meet them before I commit to living with them. As far as cats, I love cats! I love cats the same way I love stuffed animals. My people friends say this means I'm not allowed to live with any cats though. The little humans, or "kids", are okay, but I prefer when they're a little bigger and know when I want to be left alone. Anyway, I'm ready to find a home, do you want to help me?  Rogue is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $125. Rogue is considered to be a flight risk, so a fully fenced yard is required. Potential adopters may be subject to a home visit.  Interested? Call 615-446-7387. ##1530157##
