Ariat is looking for a patient home that can continue to provide him with the love, stability, and positive reinforcement he deserves after he was failed by his first owners by being surrendered to a kill shelter where his time could have came to a fast end. Ariat does prefers the company of small dogs to dogs his size or smaller. We believe he may have had a bad experience larger dogs as he does growl but hasn't instigated a fight. Ariat pays no attention to cats and would make a great only dog as he is very human attention focused. We believe Ariat may be a hound huskie mix due to his adorable curly tail and thicker fur. Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own. She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her. She is crate trained and just fine. She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings. As cute as she is, they are not interested. The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day. Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection. She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady! Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her. She is a beauty. A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed. She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way. Kanin is a new guy to us and has only been with us for a handful of weeks but we are all already obsessed with him! He is so sweet and such a love but also has such a fun playful side! He seems to play great with other dogs and also takes cues well if a dog says they've had enough. He seems to play appropriately with his 50 lb Husky friend as well as his 8 lb Chihuahua friend. He is also a great snuggler and LOVES to go on walks. He is actually helping another anxious dog at the rescue get more confident on walks. We don't know how he would be with cats and kids but so far he doesn't seem to have much of a pray drive so would hopefully be ok with cats. He does seem to have some separation anxiety so we have him on Trazodone as he is getting used to his new environment but we think we should be able to transition him off of that. He can be vocal when we leave him but that does seem to be improving and he does stop barking so we would say he barks for an appropriate amount of time. He is also kennel trained and doesn't have accidents in the kennel and also does not seem to be destructive at all! October 6, 2026, 4:41 pm

Saint is a well mannered companion on daily walks and is so interested in his surroundings. He also enjoys outings in the fenced yard. Saint is the best cuddle buddy! His soft and fluffy coat is perfect for petting, which he greatly enjoys. Saint is a bright dog who should master any commands you wish to teach him. He will sit for the reward of a treat.
