Story
to adopt or ask questions:  https://dogs2ndchance.org/     Hi! My name is Iris! I'm a brown, black and white female husky mix who is 4 months old, 10 pounds, and up to date on shots. Right now I am still to young to get spayed and I will be getting microchipped when I get spayed. I'm  very playful and good on the leash, in the car and with other dogs. (We don't know about cats yet).  My foster parents say that I'm very affectionate and eager to please.      Come take this beautiful little flower home with you!  When you are in the bed of a pick-up truck with someone holding up a sign that says FREE PUPPIES, you are unsure of what your future holds. Fortunately for my sister  (Clover) and I a volunteer with Dogs2ndChance saw that and took us home with her! She was told our mother was a husky and not sure who our father is. I am learning how to walk on a leash and to do "my business" outside in the yard. I sleep in a kennel at night and take my meals in the kennel to prevent other puppies in the house getting my food. I love to play with stuffed toys, chew on bones, and chase a ball. Since I am only approximately 4 months old, I have a lot to learn. Wouldn't you like the opportunity to teach me? Thank you for considering adopting a new family member. Memphis area adoption fee is $200      All dogs are spayed or neutered {unless medical issues prohibit the surgery}, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested {if old enough} and treated if necessary. They also are de-wormed and start heartworm and flea prevention when rescued. It is continued until adopted. Adopter is furnished with their 1st month's heartworm prevention. ** Out of State adoption fee is $425  and includes a $150.00 the non refundable transportation fee paid to an approved animal transportation company. Several states require the dog to be quarantined 48 hours before pickup. The adopter pays the quarantine fee at time of pick up. Unless otherwise indicated Your Adoption Fee Includes Microchip Spay or Neuter All age appropriate vaccinations   * Local 2 week trial adoption Adopter's first Month's Heartworm prevention  2 week  supply of food to transition to your brand of food.  Known Medical Issues are addressed before Adoption; Any Other Issues are Disclosed ** Health Certificate that states  Dog Does Not Have a Contagious Disease or Internal Parasites to adopt go to:  dogs2ndchance.org/adoption-application-form/ June 4, 2023, 3:27 pm

Story
Meet me at PetSmart #2087 in Memphis, Tn. 5883 Poplar Ave Saturday, June 3rd from 11am to 2pm! Pup Pup is just over a year old and full of energy. He has all his vaccines now and his heartworm test-negative. We’re thinking A Husky Mix? He is neutered and microchipped. He is in a foster home with his finder since no owner has been located since October. Pup Pup has a lot of puppy energy left in him so he is very active. He has a lot of Husky traits so would be helpful for him to have a home with Husky experience. He does well on leash and absolutely loves car rides. He can be a bit mouthy so no small children. He plays good with the other younger dog in the foster home. He has learned to respect the old dog in the foster home. He is very food motivated and loves treats. Let’s help him find a home. Adoption fee is $150. If interested in giving this pet a home, please send us an email and we will send you an application to fill out. saveonepet@gmail.com Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home. Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention. For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verification. When adopting an animal, you will be asked to complete our Adoption Contract

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Named for his constant grin and tail wags, Felix is a super sweet boy who looks just like a Dingo; he could have some husky in him. The vet thinks he is about 1 year old. He weighs 50 lbs. He is now neutered, vaccinated, and house trained, has learned his new name, and the word “No.” He responds to whistling and “come” with moderate consistency. He is very friendly to other dogs and humans of all ages. He does not give kisses, ever, but loves to get hugs, snuggles, and scritches. He LOVES to run and play. He has a lot of energy (and endurance!), but isn’t hyperactive. He does well on a leash when he is walked solo, but if other dogs are around he just tries to run to greet and play with them. He especially loves rough-and-tumble wrestling, chase, and tug. He is totally happy being at the bottom of the pecking order here at my house and tolerates being herded and bossed around by one of my dogs, Raza. Surprisingly, he is very tolerant of her putting him in his place! If he isn’t playing with one or more of the other pups, he likes to get pets, nap, and keep me company. He is heartworm positive and will be treated soon. His adoption fee is $200 After reading this pet's info, if you are still interested in adopting, please fill out the online adoption application found at realgooddogrescue.com The ideal home for this Real Good Dog will have a secure fenced yard. Hi, my name is Rambo. I was rescued as a stray. I was treated for heartworms and am now completely free of them and on monthly heartworm prevention. I am a very beautiful, loving, loyal and friendly full blooded Husky in need of a forever loving family with a fenced in yard where I can play. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
FREE YO A GOOD HOME. Arya is a sweet, mellow 7 year old female husky in need of a new home. She is incredibly intelligent and does very well with cats and children. With dogs, she will just keep barking at them so we have not fully tested her around other dogs. She has extreme anxiety when it comes to odd or loud noises (dishwasher, alarms, neighbors, thunderstorms) and has become destructive with our property as a result of it. As much as it hurts us to do this, we have decided to attempt to rehome Arya. We have inherited Arya from a family member and have rehomed her for about 10 months. Our long work schedules and apartment situation is not ideal for her to feel or be comforted during scary moments. She needs a household that has time and energy to handle her anxiety. Arya currently takes fluoxetine 20mg and has no significant past medical history besides anxiety.
