Story
Meet Jack Fostering in Tennessee Here's the link to our adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/201317338010137 This handsome devil is Jack. Jack’s person was deployed, and no one would take his dogs and care for them while deployed. We were asked if we could take them and find them new homes. We said of course. Jack is a happy guy that loves life. He still likes to run in the yard and have a good time. He does like to play fetch, but sometimes choose to keep his toy instead of bringing it back. He is a lover and loves all the attention he can get. He doesn’t meet a stranger; our volunteer was able to get great pictures after just having met him. Jack is crate and house trained and has pretty good house manners. If you would like to add this older gentleman to your family, use the link below to apply. Here's the link to our adoption application https://form.jotform.com/201317338010137 ANIMAL INFORMATION: Name: Jack Breed: Husky Mix Gender: Male DOB: 11/15/2014 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Vaccines: Current. Microchipped: Yes FOSTER EVALUATION AND RECOMMENDATION: Dogs: Yes, fostering with other dogs of various sizes, genders and breeds Cats: Unknown Other Small Animals: Unknown Children: Yes, has met middle age children and have done well. Has not been tested with infants and toddlers. ADOPTION INFORMATION: We are a foster-based animal rescue and we thank you for your interest in one of our animals. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need. If you are interested in one of our animals, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture. You may also find our application on our website at www.petmatchmakerrescue.com under the Adopt page. If they are listed on our website, their adoptions have not been finalized yet. That does not mean that we have not received several applications, already. Please complete an application if you are interested and we will keep you apprised of their current status. We are all volunteers that work full-time jobs, so please be patient with us. We will get back with you as quickly as possible. If you are interested in fostering for our organization, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture.

Story
We found Balto during a snowstorm in January and have been unable to locate his owner. He was not microchipped and without a collar when we found him, and also slightly underweight. We have been fostering him since and have learned that he is very sweet and loving. He is two years old and loves to play an go on walks, but he also enjoys cuddling up! We are looking for someone who can devote time and attention to him with room to let him roam and go on walks.

Story
Named for his constant grin and tail wags, Felix is a super sweet boy who looks just like a Dingo; he could have some husky in him. The vet thinks he is about 1 year old. He weighs 50 lbs. He is now neutered, vaccinated, and house trained, has learned his new name, and the word “No.” He responds to whistling and “come” with moderate consistency. He is very friendly to other dogs and humans of all ages. He does not give kisses, ever, but loves to get hugs, snuggles, and scritches. He LOVES to run and play. He has a lot of energy (and endurance!), but isn’t hyperactive. He does well on a leash when he is walked solo, but if other dogs are around he just tries to run to greet and play with them. He especially loves rough-and-tumble wrestling, chase, and tug. He is totally happy being at the bottom of the pecking order here at my house and tolerates being herded and bossed around by one of my dogs, Raza. Surprisingly, he is very tolerant of her putting him in his place! If he isn’t playing with one or more of the other pups, he likes to get pets, nap, and keep me company. He is heartworm positive and will be treated soon. Story
Echo is a sweet, mild mannered female husky mix who was abandoned at Sea Isle Dog Park with four pups. She is approx 1 and a half years old and weighs about 45 lbs. Echo is a very calm dog and has been a great mom. Here is what her foster moms says about Echo: "Echo is sweet as the day is long. She loves getting one-on-one time. She is learning some basic commands. While she starts out on walks very excited, she does settle and knows how to walk on a leash. She very much wants to be a member of a family." Echo has not warmed up to a male adult dog who lives there or a cat.
