Story
Meet Jack Fostering in Tennessee Here's the link to our adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/201317338010137 This handsome devil is Jack. Jack’s person was deployed, and no one would take his dogs and care for them while deployed. We were asked if we could take them and find them new homes. We said of course. Jack is a happy guy that loves life. He still likes to run in the yard and have a good time. He does like to play fetch, but sometimes choose to keep his toy instead of bringing it back. He is a lover and loves all the attention he can get. He doesn’t meet a stranger; our volunteer was able to get great pictures after just having met him. Jack is crate and house trained and has pretty good house manners. If you would like to add this older gentleman to your family, use the link below to apply. Here's the link to our adoption application https://form.jotform.com/201317338010137 ANIMAL INFORMATION: Name: Jack Breed: Husky Mix Gender: Male DOB: 11/15/2014 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Vaccines: Current. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need. If you are interested in one of our animals, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture. You may also find our application on our website at www.petmatchmakerrescue.com under the Adopt page. If they are listed on our website, their adoptions have not been finalized yet. That does not mean that we have not received several applications, already. Please complete an application if you are interested and we will keep you apprised of their current status. We are all volunteers that work full-time jobs, so please be patient with us. We will get back with you as quickly as possible. If you are interested in fostering for our organization, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture.

Story
We found Balto during a snowstorm in January and have been unable to locate his owner. He was not microchipped and without a collar when we found him, and also slightly underweight. We have been fostering him since and have learned that he is very sweet and loving. He is two years old and loves to play an go on walks, but he also enjoys cuddling up! We are looking for someone who can devote time and attention to him with room to let him roam and go on walks.

Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption Application  Kita is a 6yo female husky mix who is being surrendered by her owner in TN who can no longer keep her. Kita loves people, she’s very friendly and outgoing and behaves well in public too. Good house manners. Housebroken and crate trained.  She LOVES her crate. She puts herself in her crate at night to sleep and enjoys napping in her crate during the day whenever she feels like it.  Low-Moderate energy level; she sleeps most of the day, but every now and then she’ll get a burst of energy and zoom around the house/backyard. Low maintenance. She also enjoys chewing on her Nylabone and loves her walks. She certainly talks like a husky and sometimes has a lot to say! Also, when she is excited, she jumps very, very high. If there is thunder, she gets scared and lays as close to, if not on top of, you as possible. Obeys basic commands.  She’s never lived with a child, but she’s interacted with children and been rather indifferent. If they want to say hi, she’ll get a little excited, but if they don’t, she doesn’t seem to care.  Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 50 pounds. Kita is not good with cats or other dogs.  She’s an alpha dog and she’s aggressive with other dogs, cats and wildlife. Kita’s ideal adopter is someone who accepts that she must be the only dog in the home, will enjoy her need for affection, will give her daily time outside to roam/sunbathe, can take her on a few short walks every week, who is okay with her talkative, husky side, who is patient. To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Contact us at reply@happydogrescue.org  visit us at http://www.happydogrescue.orgJuly 25, 2024, 8:52 am

Story
Named for his constant grin and tail wags, Felix is a super sweet boy who looks just like a Dingo; he could have some husky in him. The vet thinks he is about 1 year old. He weighs 50 lbs. He is now neutered, vaccinated, and house trained, has learned his new name, and the word “No.” He responds to whistling and “come” with moderate consistency. He is very friendly to other dogs and humans of all ages. He does not give kisses, ever, but loves to get hugs, snuggles, and scritches. He LOVES to run and play. He has a lot of energy (and endurance!), but isn’t hyperactive. He does well on a leash when he is walked solo, but if other dogs are around he just tries to run to greet and play with them. He especially loves rough-and-tumble wrestling, chase, and tug. He is totally happy being at the bottom of the pecking order here at my house and tolerates being herded and bossed around by one of my dogs, Raza. Surprisingly, he is very tolerant of her putting him in his place! If he isn’t playing with one or more of the other pups, he likes to get pets, nap, and keep me company. He is heartworm positive and will be treated soon. His adoption fee is $200 After reading this pet's info, if you are still interested in adopting, please fill out the online adoption application found at realgooddogrescue.com The ideal home for this Real Good Dog will have a secure fenced yard. Story
NOKI IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN ! Husky lovers meet Noki! He is a very energetic, extremely happy, heartworm negative boy who is looking for his forever home. Last October, a good Samaritan was notified of a dog that had been dumped on a backroad and needed help. This good Samaritan took him in to begin his new chapter of his life. He went straight to the bath (which he did amazing in). It's very obvious whoever had him before was not kind to him like his new foster. He wouldn't walk into a room if he saw a man standing there. He didn't seem to know much about being inside or even how to be a dog for that matter. His foster would give him a bone, and he would just rub his face on it; she would turn on the tv, and he would run and hide behind the couch. He wanted so bad to be around people, but he didn't understand how to go about it. Fast forward to 6 months later, Noki has completely transformed! Yes, he still has some ways to go, but he is a totally different dog than the one found dumped on a backroad last year. He has never met a dog that he didn't like. He isn't picky either about his dog friends; they can be bigger or smaller as long as they want to play with him! He's still learning how to walk politely on the leash; he tends to pull out of pure excitement of seeing all the new sites! We are still working on crate training as well. Being a husky, he is very vocal at times, especially if he doesn't agree with the situation. He goes in the crate politely, and he will quiet down after a bit, but he will sure let you know he feels about it for a bit. All of that said, as soon as he sees you coming to get him, he gets so excited waiting for his next adventure with you. Please consider opening up your home to this goofy, loving, and resilient dog who is just searching for a place to finally call home.  Noki is completely vetted and ready for adoption! He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and current on prevention. His local adoption fee is $225.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Noki here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!
