Story
Meet Bandit💙 - a gorgeous tri-color Husky mix with an even more beautiful heart! At 2 years old and about 55 pounds, he’s the perfect mix of playful energy and total cuddle bug. Bandit is incredibly sweet and affectionate—and despite his size, he’s convinced he’s a lap dog! He will happily climb right into your lap for love and attention. This smart boy knows basic commands like come and sit, is fully house trained, and does great in a kennel. He walks nicely on a leash, loves to run, and gets along wonderfully with kids of all ages, adults, and other dogs. Belly rubs are one of his favorite things, and he’ll gladly roll over for one any chance he gets! Bandit truly is the all-around package: loving, well-mannered, social, and ready to be a loyal companion. He’s patiently waiting to find a family to call his own—could that be you? 💙🐶 Bandit is up to date and vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be microchipped and neutered before adoption. Story
Meet Junie! 🐾 Junie is a beautiful 3-year-old, 63-pound goofball who brings joy everywhere she goes. This playful girl loves spending time with other dogs and would happily romp around with a furry friend. She currently lives in a home with cats and, while she’s still very curious about them, she has shown no aggression. Junie truly has never met a stranger and is always ready to soak up love and attention from her humans—including kids! She’s great with children and enjoys being part of the family fun. Loud noises can make her a little nervous, but she looks to her people for comfort and reassurance. She does great in her kennel and enjoys going on walks with her leash. Like many playful pups, Junie can be a bit mischievous at times, but she responds very well to correction and is eager to please. Junie is heartworm negative, spayed, and up to date on all vaccines, and she’s ready to find her forever family. She would love a home where she has plenty of space to play, explore, and most importantly—be showered with the love she so happily gives in return. 💕 Apply to adopt Junie here: https://form.jotform.com/240287047227052

Updated 16 Nov 25 🐾 Meet Quin — The Gentle Goofball 🐾 Quin is the definition of a well-mannered sweetheart. In his kennel he’s calm, quiet, and patient — no barking, no chewing, and no accidents. He loves nothing more than curling up on his blanket like the little gentleman he is. Once he gets outside, though… he lets his fun side shine! Quin will take care of business right away (house-training ✔️), then celebrate with a quick case of the zoomies. He loves to play-bow, chase a tennis ball, and share silly happy moments — but he’s also quick to settle and enjoy some calm time with you. He walks nicely on leash and has shown good manners around other dogs. And his eyes? Absolutely stunning — soulful, expressive, and impossible to resist. ✨ Why you’ll love him: • Quiet and respectful in the home • House-training skills on point • Sweet, social, and loves gentle play • Gorgeous eyes that melt hearts • Easy leash walker Quin is ready to snuggle his way into a loving home where cozy blankets and good company are guaranteed. If you're looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts calm and playful — Quin is your guy! 🖤🐶

Story
Dexter is an energetic, fun-loving young pup with striking blue eyes and a big personality! This handsome Husky mix is about one year old and absolutely loves meeting new people. Whether it’s going for a walk, running around the yard, or playing with his favorite person, Dexter is always ready for fun and adventure. Dexter would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and attention. When playtime is over, he’s also happy to relax, chew on his favorite bones, and hang out while his person is busy. He is crate-trained and settles down quickly once he’s in his kennel. Dexter is also very treat-motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience. Because he is strong and playful, Dexter would do best in a home without small children. With the right family, he will make a loyal, loving companion full of personality. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate dog who’s ready to be your adventure buddy, Dexter could be the perfect match! He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations.  His local adoption fee is $300 for adoptions within the Memphis, TN tristate area.   Dexter’s out of state/not local to Memphis, TN tristate area adoption fee is $600 and includes the transport to states like PA, CT, NJ, MD, & VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Dexter up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Dexter here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
My name is Denise… pronounced “Dee-NICE.”Yes, like the substitute teacher comedy skit. Apparently, that name is running rampant at the shelter right now — we just need an “A-A Ron” to complete the cast! But hey, I embrace it. Denise fits me just fine.I’m a 2-year-old Husky mix who arrived on February 3, 2026, from the Rice Street area here in West Memphis. A kind lady saw me almost get hit by a car and made sure I got safely to the shelter. I’m so grateful she stepped in — who knows where I’d be otherwise?Let me tell you a little about myself.I’m super sweet, housebroken, and I absolutely love being outside in the sunshine. These days the weather is hit or miss, but when the sun does come out, you’ll find me right in the middle of the yard, sitting peacefully and soaking up every warm ray. It’s my happy place. When I first arrived, though, I wasn’t feeling so great. I had a severe skin condition and two badly infected ears. My ears hurt so much that I shook them constantly — sometimes so hard I’d get dizzy and lightheaded. One treatment later and my ears are clear! The relief was incredible. No one should have to live with ear pain and no help.As for my skin — it wasn’t mange and it wasn’t ringworm. It was a terrible yeast infection covering much of my body. I’m currently in treatment and doing really well. My fur should be growing back in beautifully before long.Right now, I may not look like much… but trust me.I have crystal blue eyes, and when you meet me, you’ll understand. There’s something special there. I have a calm, gentle presence and a heart ready to belong to someone. Here’s my health update:• Heartworm negative• Up to date on vaccines• Spay coming soonWhile I’m healing and waiting, I wanted you to know I’m here — and I’m in the market for a loving home and family. If you’re looking for a sweet, sunshine-loving girl with striking blue eyes and a heart full of gratitude, come meet Dee-NICE.I think you’ll know I’m the one. ????
