Story
Bluey is a gorgeous husky boy who came to APA from the Austin Animal Center. His owner surrendered him there due to not being able to afford medical treatment for a mass on Bluey's leg. The clinic here at APA removed the mass, and Bluey is healing up nicely! Bluey is a typical zany, friendly husky and would love to find a new loving home. He knows the sit, shake, come, down, and stay commands and is a very smart boy! And, Bluey is a cuddler! He is leash-trained and appears to be house-trained, too. Bluey would love an active home with outings and adventures to stimulate his body and mind. Do you have room in your life for an intelligent, energetic husky?

Story
Aurora was Rescued with her mom and sister after spending two long years in a tiny 10x10 outdoor kennel enduring the Texas weather, she never got to experience the freedom of running around or much human interaction. But despite it all, she remains an absolute sweetheart and trust humans. Her favorite thing in the world is giving kisses. She craves attention and loves singing softly with her precious husky howls. Her vocalizations are more endearing than loud, adding to her charming personality. On a leash, Aurora walks well but can get a bit excited at times. She’s got the perfect husky energy and would thrive in a family that can give her the love and attention she truly deserves. Aurora loves everyone she meets and has a special way of making you feel adored with her gentle nature. She loves leaning on you, giving hugs, and of course, showering you with kisses. If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate companion, Aurora is the perfect match for you.

Story
Say hello to Emilia, a happy, bouncy and agile pup full of curiosity. At first, she might be a bit shy, but give her a moment and she’ll warm up to you with boundless enthusiasm and joy. Emilia absolutely loves to run! Whether it's a game of fetch or just racing around the yard, she’s always on the move and can’t sit still long enough for a photo—her playful spirit just won’t be contained. She enjoys being vocal, adding her voice to the fun with cheerful barks and playful sounds. The great outdoors is Emilia’s happy place. She loves being outside, exploring every scent and sight with excitement. Toys are a big hit with her, and she can keep herself entertained with them for hours. Her agility and problem-solving skills make her a joy to watch as she navigates obstacles with such ease.. One of Emilia’s unique quirks is her fondness for donkeys. She loves to smell them and even gives them gentle licks, showing her affectionate and curious nature. When it comes to people, she’s more into giving kisses than hugs, and she might jump a little when greeting new friends, but it's all in good fun.
