Story
Little Candy came to us as a puppy but she seems to have been treated very badly. She was roaming the streets for several days with a broken off chain around her neck and totally terrified. With lots of cheese and patience, one of our street rescuers was able to safe her. She's still very afraid of the world and she will need a calm household with yard access. Candy likes other dogs and we think, that another dog would help her come out of her shell. She's absolutely beautiful and precious as you can see in the pictures! Will you help us, give Candy a nice childhood from now on and a happy life? Basic requirements for Candy's home are an adult household with yard and a compatible dog companion for Candy. Story
We adopted Juno in 2024. My wife and I (we were friends at the time) walked into the shelter after we saw Juno on their Instagram page and instantly fell in love with her energy. Her shelter name was Snuggles, and she lived up to it! Juno is an incredibly affectionate pup with so much love to give. Her cuddles are assertive, and all she could ever want is the approval of her closest people.Over the years, Juno has been exposed to a number of challenges socially, such as cats and her pup-sis (pictured above), but her guarding instinct takes over occasionally around resources she considers vital, such as food(!!) and my wife. In those moments, she enters a trance where we must intervene or she will get into fights with other dogs. We were successful at establishing boundaries with our cats, but dogs have been a persistent issue throughout our time with her; this has led to an undesirable routine at our home. We believe she would be much happier in a household where she is the only dog.

Story
He’s sweet dog once he feels comfortable around people. We have 4 kids ranging from 4-13 years old and trust him completely around all of them. Due to no socialization during Covid, he has high anxiety around new people and animals, and can bark and get aggressive. He needs to be introduced slowly and carefully to new people. Should NOT go to a house with young kids who would try to approach him before he is comfortable. He follows directions, is house trained, and is a great dog for our family but we don’t have the time to train him or exercise him properly. He needs a home that has time for his energy and doesn’t have an environment that introduces new people and animals regularly or is easily able to keep him controlled entire time. Must be strong enough to handle him on walks as he cannot contain his energy at the outset. Does the fun husky howls, definitely sweet once he accepts you as his pack. Will provide all food/crate/toys and transferable lifetime Bark Buster trainer access!

Story
Hi, I’ve had Sky since she was a puppy. She’s turning 9. We’ve traveled all over California and Texas. She’s a wonderful road trip companion, always ready for adventure. Sky is super affectionate and craves companionship. She loves long walks, playtime until tired, then curling up nearby or following you around the house. She just wants to be loved and close. Fully house trained. She paws or talks for food or potty breaks. Mostly indoor, but fine outside if she knows her bed spot. My new job is 85% travel (2 weeks to 1 month away), so I can’t give her the daily care she needs. It breaks my heart, but she deserves better. Seeking a loving home with someone around a lot for walks, attention, and companionship. Gentle, easygoing senior girl. Happy to share photos, meet, provide vet records. Please help find her perfect match! Thanks
