Story
Eve is a Siberian Husky. She was adopted as a companion to my mentally disabled cousin. We got her from the Olympia Animal Shelter in July. Unfortunately, he has moved into a facility which does not allow animals. Eve is very sweet and patient. She loves her belly scratched. She gets along with everyone including small children and other animals. She tends to pull if on a short leash but on a long leash, you can tell her "no pull" accompanied by a gentle tug and she's great. She knows simple commands, but as with all Siberian Husky's, she has selective hearing. I will provide the name of the veterinary clinic which has her current records upon adoption. My cousin has already moved so she is in need of a forever home as soon as possible as I am not able to keep her long term. Thank you

Story
Sweet loving two-year-old female Siberian Husky named Freya. She completed her basic training course but still tends to pull when walking on leash - she also LOVES people. Freya is fixed and microchipped but has epilepsy which is managed with daily medication (roughly $30 per month and easily takes it without struggle). Epilepsy is very infrequent at this time and is primarily triggered when she goes into new environments such as stores and the vet so she will need to be a homebody. Rehoming fee includes crate and all supplies if needed. Looking for a forever home where she can run about and play!

Story
Zola is a 2.5-year-old Husky/Malamute and Lab mix with the biggest heart and an even bigger personality. She’s the daughter of our two family dogs, so we’ve known her since day one, and she is truly the "snuggle bug" of the bunch. If you’re looking for a dog who will talk to you, smile when she's happy, and shower you with affection, Zola is your girl. She has grown up in a busy house full of kids and absolutely loves them. She’s also a great playmate for other dogs, though she’s still trying (and failing) to convince our cat to be her best friend. Zola is a high-energy, high-emotion girl who gets so excited to see her people that she sometimes has "happy pee" moments, so she’d do best with someone who understands that sensitive, enthusiastic side of her. She is great in her kennel at night and is honestly just a sweet, vocal, loving companion who wants to be part of the action. She’ll make a wonderful addition to a family who has plenty of room for kisses and conversation.

Schooner

Husky Shepherd (Unknown Type)

Male, 2 yrs 9 mos
Olympia, WA
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Schooner wandered onto the rescue property early this year. He got along fine with the ranch dogs and made himself at home. He was shy at first until he knew he was safe. Schooner is a lover. Just sweet as he can be. And he loves to run! And run! And run! He is absolutely gorgeous all stretched out in a full run around the property. Unfortunately he lost that privilege when he started killing the resident chickens! So no chickens or small to medium farm animals. It is simply husky nature to hunt so he's just doing what is natural. He does so so on a leash. Rides great in a car. Gives hugs. He is eager to please and would love a home and family of his own who will teach him all the good stuff about being a family. Apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Your Texas Rescue Connection to transport the dogs to your area. They are all up to date and come with a health certificate. The fee is $180 adoption and $200 transportation = $380. Thank you for considering adopting a southern dog.

Story
HI - I'M SPIRIT, a 4-year-old Siberian Husky rescued from a high-kill shelter. My story is a sad one: I ended up at the shelter with seven one-week-old puppies. Eventually, my puppies were rescued, but I was left behind and suddenly, they put me on the euthanasia list as I was out of time. I'm a sweet and shy girl, so will do well with an active person or people in a quiet home. I weigh only 48 lbs. I am currently in boarding and need a foster or forever home. Can you help me find a home for the holidays? I'm currently in California, but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application and additional photos.

Story
Hi - I'm Benji! I'm a 1-1/2-year-old Siberian Husky-shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. I weigh only 48 lbs! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I did well with other dogs. I'm a sweet boy and like most huskies, am incredibly smart, so I need a smart owner to keep me active and secure. If you can foster or adopt me, please email for an application and additional photos. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to Olympia (no extra charge beyond the adoption fee).
