Story
We lost our long term dog in a horrible accident. We got Mia in October 2025 when she was just six weeks old. We were living in a home at the time and were not aware that the mortgage was not being paid by the owner. By the time we found out the home was in foreclosure and going up for auction. I was able to find housing for myself and my children but they do not allow dogs. This is a horrible situation for us. We love Mia very much and want her to have the loving family she so desperately deserves. She loves unconditionally ❤️

Story
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A COURTESY POST. HE IS NOT AT THE SHELTER Meet Hank! Hank is a handsome Husky/Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for routine, activity, and companionship. This well-mannered boy is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and kept healthy on monthly Simparica Trio—so he’s ready to head straight into his new home without missing a beat. Hank thrives on structure and would be a perfect match for an active household. He’s used to daily exercise (think two-mile walks twice a day!) and truly enjoys getting out to explore the world with his people. He also regularly attends doggy daycare a few times a week, where he gets valuable social time—and it’s clear he loves being around other dogs. In fact, Hank would do best in a home with a canine companion to help meet his social needs and keep him company. At home, Hank is crate trained and well-behaved, though he’d prefer not to be left alone for long periods. He’s a great travel buddy, rides well in the car, and is comfortable around kids, making him a wonderful candidate for a family setting. Hank is also very in tune with his routine, from his twice-daily meals (with a little treat topper he loves!) to his exercise schedule. He’s the kind of dog who will thrive with consistency and clear expectations. If you’re looking for a loyal, active companion who would love a dog friend and a home that keeps him engaged, Hank might just be your perfect match. Story
I’m looking for a better long‑term fit for my husky, Willow. She is a 6 year old husky. I adopted her about five years ago from a friend who was struggling with food‑related aggression around their young children. Since then, Willow has been a loving, important part of my life. She’s sweet, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. She loves walks, hikes, exploring new places, and running off‑leash on our property. She’s kennel‑trained, well‑mannered in the house, and generally quiet unless she’s excited or “talking.” Willow’s challenge is living with other dogs. I have two senior dogs (10 and 11), and despite careful management, Willow shows aggression toward them—especially around food or attention. While she has never caused serious injury, the ongoing stress isn’t fair to any of them. Willow truly needs to be the only pet in the home. I love her deeply, but my priority is finding her a calm, stable home where she can thrive as the sole focus and companion.

Bear is a good boy who is not getting the love he deserves. I am a single mom of two and between working and school, with no backyard, he isn’t getting the exercise or time he needs. Looking for a good home for a good boy.

Story
Shefa is a playful, intelligent dog with a big personality and lots of love to give. I brought her home when she was just three months old — the shy runt of the litter — and she has grown up in a busy home with five young boys, so she absolutely loves kids and thrives around people and other dogs. She’s high-energy, silly, and happiest when she’s running, playing, and doing her signature “prey and pounce” moves with other dogs in the field. Once she’s well exercised, she settles down nicely and loves showing off the many tricks she’s learned. Shefa would do best with an active owner or family who has the time and space to play with her and continue giving her the attention and engagement she loves.
