Story
I brought luna home a month ago. I unfortunately live in an apartment and her breed is restricted. I know a lot of people have opinións about me taking home a husky when i don’t own a backyard but I’m a full time college student so I knew she would be getting her proper exercise in. I’ve tried to get her registered as an esa but that isn’t working so great either. My landlord is picky and needs certain documents. Luna is mostly potty trained. She knows to go to the door when she needs to go potty but if we’re not there fast enough she will go on the potty pad. She did have seperation anxiety the first week but we’ve been practicing crate training and it’s gotten better. She does tinkle when she gets super excited. She’s super sweet and I’m already so attached so I hope someone would love to bring her home because it’s getting harder on me everyday by furthering our bond.

Story
Schooner wandered onto the rescue property early this year. He got along fine with the ranch dogs and made himself at home. He was shy at first until he knew he was safe. Schooner is a lover. Just sweet as he can be. And he loves to run! And run! And run! He is absolutely gorgeous all stretched out in a full run around the property. Unfortunately he lost that privilege when he started killing the resident chickens! So no chickens or small to medium farm animals. It is simply husky nature to hunt so he's just doing what is natural. He does so so on a leash. Rides great in a car. Gives hugs. He is eager to please and would love a home and family of his own who will teach him all the good stuff about being a family. Apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Your Texas Rescue Connection to transport the dogs to your area. They are all up to date and come with a health certificate. The fee is $180 adoption and $200 transportation = $380. Thank you for considering adopting a southern dog.

Story
My boss gave Lulu to me as a Christmas gift since his Husky had a litter. I couldn't resist, my family and I just moved to a new 1 acre property and thought I could make it work. Lulu is a very active pup with one blue eye and one brown eye. She was born 2nd week of November in 2022 so she's only about 1.5 years old. Very loving dog that just wants to play all the time, even knows a few tricks thanks to my brother (sit, shake, lay, roll, stay). Unfortunately, work has been keeping me busy (6-7 days a week, 10 - 14hr days) and feel bad that I don't spend enough time with her. I would feel a lot better knowing she goes to a home where she could get more attention and maybe a playmate. She got out of our fenced yard back in November 2023 and got hit by a car that knocked her hip out of place. I paid for the hip surgery (FOH) with the help of my family and have been working with her to get her back up and going. She can walk and run normally now after 4 months of physical therapy.

Story
KaNoah is available for adoption through his foster home! If you would like to meet KaNoah, please reach out to us and we will connect you with their foster home!Meet KaNoah, a striking 4-year-old Husky with a beautiful black and white coat and an energetic spirit. Weighing 48 lbs, KaNoah is a bit underweight, but with the right care, he'll fill out into a healthy and strong dog. KaNoah is full of life and loves to play, making him an excellent companion for an active family or individual. KaNoah is friendly and enjoys human companionship, but he prefers to be the only dog in the household. He's working on his leash manners, but like many Huskies, he can pull a bit when he's excited. With some patience and consistent training, KaNoah is sure to become a well-mannered walking partner. KaNoah would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and playtime. He would do best with a family or individual who has experience with high-energy breeds like Huskies and can provide the structure and training he needs. KaNoah's playful nature means he would enjoy a home that can provide regular outdoor activities and mental stimulation. Because KaNoah prefers to be the only dog, he would do best in a household where he can be the center of attention. His new family should also be prepared to help him gain some healthy weight through a nutritious diet. KaNoah is a friendly and playful Husky looking for a forever home where he can be the star of the show. If you're ready to welcome a sweet and energetic companion into your life, KaNoah could be the perfect addition to your family.
