Story
Franko is a charming 1-year-old Siberian Husky with a heart full of love and a spirit full of adventure! This sweet boy absolutely adores going on walks and does really well on a leash, making him the perfect walking buddy. He’s always excited for his daily outings and will happily trot along by your side.Franko is also a big fan of treats and pets — his tail wags non-stop when he’s getting attention! He’s affectionate, gentle, and just loves being around people.Because he’s young and energetic, Franko would thrive in a home with a tall, secure fenced yard where he can run, play, and explore safely. He’s looking for a family who can match his playful energy and shower him with love (and treats, of course!).If you`re ready for a loyal, sweet companion, Franko could be the perfect addition to your family! The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. Story
Cedar is a very friendly dog. He loves to be outdoors and is happiest when he has room to run. He has been pleasant and playful to everyone that he has come across. He is not a barker or a jumper. We rescued him when he was eight weeks old and he has been very happy. He is neutered and current on his vaccinations. We have taken him to the dog park many times and he has been incredibly playful. He recently started going after my chickens. I have too many dogs in the house to bring him indoors. He weighs 48 lbs. He really just needs someone to love and train him. Come and meet him anytime.

Story
Schooner wandered onto the rescue property early this year. He got along fine with the ranch dogs and made himself at home. He was shy at first until he knew he was safe. Schooner is a lover. Just sweet as he can be. And he loves to run! And run! And run! He is absolutely gorgeous all stretched out in a full run around the property. Unfortunately he lost that privilege when he started killing the resident chickens! So no chickens or small to medium farm animals. It is simply husky nature to hunt so he's just doing what is natural. He does so so on a leash. Rides great in a car. Gives hugs. He is eager to please and would love a home and family of his own who will teach him all the good stuff about being a family. Apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Your Texas Rescue Connection to transport the dogs to your area. They are all up to date and come with a health certificate. The fee is $180 adoption and $200 transportation = $380. Thank you for considering adopting a southern dog.
