Story
~DOB: 5/1/2020 Weight: 50lbs Energy level: Moderate Overall drive: Low Location: Lodi, CA Stella is a woo woo woo wooer! She loves who she does & woo’s as she feels is fitting to announce herself. She loves to put her head in your lap for pets, will follow you around but she’s not clingy. If she were human, Stella would be a children's book author. Her most famous work, Oh The Places You’ll Woo, points out all the spots an adventurous Husky lady can announce herself in, and hit the New York Times bestseller list in no time flat. Stella is a bouncy little lady who takes a bit to warm up to new people. She has preferred women to men but has made friends with several men given time, space, and understanding. She loves to go on walks, do a few yard zoomies & just hang out with her people. Stella is her foster mom’s personal assistant in the office & will hang out for hours providing moral support while she is working. While she will play & engage with the other dogs, she really prefers to just hang out & chill. She hasn’t done a lot of outside the home travel but has been fine with the vet interactions. Stella tends to be standoffish with strangers in general but will greet visitors to the house & will jump up on those she deems friends. She’s warmed up to both house sitters and did well in boarding for a week while her foster parents were out of town. She now recognizes the woman who she boarded with & absolutely loves her! Stella is non-reactive on leash but can be pushy with other dogs so proper introductions & a chill housemate would be her jam. She's currently living with 3 other dogs of similar size or larger who are very laid back. Her play style is very submissive with the resident dogs & additional foster. She does grumble at them about personal space issues, but none of them care so it’s not an issue. Stella is fully potty, crate, and dog door trained. She will 100% counter surf to the best of her stubby little legs ability and the garbage can is super fun! She has mastered her basic commands, is working on more skills, and only requires simple verbal correction. Stella is looking for a calm, chaos and child-free home with few visitors to call her own. She would do fine with another low-key neutral dog or 2 and truly wants nothing more than to lounge on the couch and be in the same room as her person. A few snuggles paired with a walk or play in the yard and even a food puzzle would totally satisfy her. If you are looking for a low maintenance, travel sized gal to document your adventures as she collects content for her next book, then look no further than Stella.

Story
Witness has seen things. What things? She won`t say. She`ll simply look past you with an expression that suggests she`s carrying classified information and has already decided you`re not cleared for it.At just 2 years old, Witness is quiet, observant, and deeply committed to minding her own business. She`s not the type to greet strangers with kisses or throw herself into your lap. New people are met with caution, a healthy dose of skepticism, and an impeccable side-eye. She`s looking for someone who understands that trust is earned, not expected. The good news? Dogs like Witness often form incredibly meaningful bonds once they feel safe. She isn`t looking for someone to force a friendship—just a patient, low-pressure home that will let her settle in at her own pace. If you`re willing to earn her trust, you`ll gain something much rarer than instant affection: the quiet confidence of a dog who chose you. She has seen things. Maybe one day, she`ll decide you can know them too.The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordetella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online.  If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510.  This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

Story
Sophie is 3 years old. We took her in with the intention of helping her. What we didnt know is she doesnt get along with dogs the same age. We have an older dog (12) who she gets along with no issue. However my other dog who is 3 she attacks. We have tried training and she is smart, and loves training but it has not helped with getting along with my other dog. She will make an amazing only dog, loves cuddling and playing catch. She does great in her kennel during the work day. Still pulls a little on the leash but is getting so much better.

Story
Ghost was rescued by an organization in Southern California. His backstory is that he was recovered from people who were selling him out of a parking lot I got him from the rescue 4 years ago.He is a sweet and loving boy and would do best in a single dog household. He has become problematic with the other dogs in the house and has attacked the large dog. He does not seem to be bothered so much by little dogs. My roommate and her dog were hurt, not badly but enough to make her feel unsafe. Since he is a husky, he is very obstinate and does not listen to commands readily and this is contributing to the problem. He is also a ‘nose puncher’ but not with me. People have said it felt like he was herding them or resource guarding. Since then, one person has said it felt aggressive.Ghost is not a huge cuddler and prefers to sleep on the floor instead of the bed.

Cody is with our partner rescue and will come to WA per next transport if he finds a foster or forever home Foster or Adopt Cody 💚🐾 Meet Cody — a handsome 3-year-old husky mix with a big heart 💚 This sweet boy had a rough start and was rescued just in time from a high-kill shelter… and now he’s ready for a fresh, happy chapter 🐶✨ Despite everything he’s been through, Cody is gentle, kind, and full of love. He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet personality really shines. Cody would do best in a calm, patient home where he can relax, build confidence, and finally feel secure 🏡 He’s not asking for much — just a loving family, a peaceful space, and a forever place to belong 💚🐾 Could you be the one to give Cody the life he deserves?
