Story
Say hello to sweet, little Tico! Tico is a Jack Russell Terrier, Lhasa Apso, and Shih Tzu mix and will likely stay small to medium in size. Tico is confident and playful. He loves to run around, play with toys and snuggle in your lap. Tico is housetrained, is learning to walk on a leash, and sleeps through the night. He would be a great addition to any family! Tico is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Dora pup, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Story
Meet Casper Constellation! Casper Constellation was entrusted to our care as part of our Final Wish Program Grant. He and five other dogs from the same home arrived on April 19th after their dad passed away. Casper Constellation is 12 years old, weighs 14.5 lbs., and is a sweet and happy boy! He is polite and friendly with the other Frosted Faces in our littles play yard. He enjoys going for walks and is good on leash. Casper Constellation went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he is like in a home. He earned a rave review from his Fling Mom: "Casper Constellation is just the sweetest boy and would make a perfect addition to anybody's home. I have not had an easier foster since I started volunteering with Frosted Faces. Casper Constellation rides well in the car and loves going for walks and running around the dog park. He sleeps and relaxes with me on down time. He's so easy! Casper Constellation is happy to meet everyone. He did well with all animals he encountered, including my cats. He is super friendly and easy-going, has no separation anxiety when we all leave. Casper Constellation must have already known how to use a doggie door because as soon as he realized we had one, he used it and had no accidents. He is a true love bug. All he wants to do is snuggle next to somebody." Casper Constellation is currently on a second Fling while he waits for his forever home. Might it be with you?

Story
Meet Rushing Rascal! Rushing Rascal was entrusted to our care as part of our Final Wish Program Grant. He and five other dogs from the same home arrived on April 19th after their dad passed away. Rushing Rascal is an all-around good boy and bundle of love! He is 11 years old and weighs 21.6 lbs. Rushing Rascal is so confident and brave, you wouldn't know he is blind. On an outing to the beach with volunteers and other dogs, Rascal wasn't nervous about the water and waves at all. He actually led the way there! When the water hit him he seemed curious but not upset. He enjoyed sitting listening to all of the sounds, and would have happily run off to explore them all. Rushing Rascal also went on outing with volunteers and a Frosted Friend to the local pet supply store and picked out treats. He earned rave reviews for being so sweet, friendly, and full of energy. He also rode nicely in the car and was an all-around great shopping companion! Rushing Rascal went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he is like in a home. His Fling Mom reports: "Rascal is a snuggle bug! He has doing lots of sleeping during day and through the night. Rascal loves walkies! He has been doing a 1-1.5 mile walk with my two other dogs daily. He also does amazing hops for an old, mostly blind dog. He can't get on the bed, but he gets on chairs and couches just fine. Yesterday I came in to find him standing on the table by the front door. Not sure how that happened! Rascal likes to be around people, which means he has to hear that you are nearby, working quietly in the same room as him will result in howling as he is sure he has been abandoned. (It's understandable that he needs reassurance after only a few days in a new place.) Rascal doesn't eat much but prefers kibble to wet. and will mow through kibble if it includes a little bacon grease. In general, he would prefer being given people food, not dog food! Rascal will run right into one of my cats and not react at all. The cats, on the other hand, are not quite so blase when that happens - lol! Someone needs to scoop this guy up fast - Rascal is just a great little dog!" Rushing Rascal is back on-site and ready for his forever home. Might it be with you? Stop by to meet this cutie on Saturday or Sunday during Open House between 10:00 and 1:00!
