Story
Name: Ravi Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Mix Sex: Neutered Male Age: 8 years Weight: 18.5 lbs Good with dogs? Yes, he would enjoy another calm dog sibling. He is indifferent toward other dogs when out on walks. Good with cats? Not Tested, but he may do fine with a dog-experienced cat. Good with kids? Yes, he likes when children pet him gently and respect his boundaries. Energy level: Medium. He is very cuddly and lazy in the morning and is never in a rush to go outside. He likes to nap all day, but also enjoys exploring the great outdoors. He is playful and likes squeaky toys! Medical/behavioral needs: Ravi has allergies so he is taking medication and eats specific food without chicken. He has a small mitral valve defect, and will need to be taken for veterinary visits to monitor his heart health. He is interested in and may chase small animals such as squirrels, bunnies or birds. Animal Characteristics: Ravi is a very sweet, social pup. He will happily follow you around and keep you company at home, then be your best buddy when you walk in the park or visit a brewery. When he’s enjoying a walk, he will gently approach new people and kids and wait for them to pet him or give him treats. He will steal your food off the coffee table if he gets a chance! He is very food motivated and loves snacks. He is fully potty trained and house trained, sleeps when he is home alone and never makes any mess. He enjoys snoozing and will find a perfect spot to sunbathe, then wake up delighted to see you! Story
Annie is the sweetest, most forgiving soul who was dumped in the desert with a broken jaw and crushed eye socket, believed to be hit by a car. Annie is lucky to be alive! She loves everyone and doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in her little body. Annie is estimated 6-7 years and looks like a Terrier mix. Loves food and cuddling. Good with other dogs and kids, no exposure to cats. Crate trained. 90% potty trained- as long as you let her out on a regular basis she is great and she won't use the bathroom in her crate. Annie responds very well to her name- her recall is awesome, she's a very smart girl! She walks fairly well on a leash but because she can't see out of one side, she may need a little more direction. So far Annie's had 3 major surgeries on her broken jaw. The first two were not successful as the bone would not fuse back together despite wiring it shut. Her third surgery was a mandablectomy where the fractured part of her jaw was completely removed. She will be able to eat normally once it has healed.  Annie has a healed injury on her back left leg that only bothers her sometimes, especially if she runs. You will see her lift it up and not put weight on it, however, there's nothing medically to be done. She would benefit from glucosamine to prevent early onset arthritis.  Annie's crushed eye socket has not been worked on and may just remain that way the rest of her life, depending on what the vet suggests. Annie has been receiving veterinary care in San Antonio, TX and anxiously awaiting the all clear so she can get outta Dodge, hop on the PJ and start her new life in Colorado a mile high. ##2378355##

Story
Lucas is an absolute love bug, he loves cuddling, sitting on your lap, and being center of attention. He loves racquet balls and any type of balls, he loves stuffed animals specially the ones with the squeaker. He is leash trained and has been since he was a puppy, however, he will still bark at everything and everyone. Lucas may or may not do good with female dogs, he does good with our another dog(who is a female) however, we haven't had him around other dogs often. Lucas does NOT do well with small children at all. We adopted him when my children were teenagers, so he has never been around little children until my grandbaby was born. Lucas has too much anxiety around little children. Lucas does not do well with strangers; he is very frightened and takes a while to warm up to them. He is afraid of fireworks and the thunder.
