Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa. Misty had a rough start in life and almost didn't make it to Colorado. Her eye was badly infected and she needed to have it removed. But FOJ rescuers saw her sweetness and resiliency shining through and made it happen. Now, she's a one-eyed wonder and she barely seems to notice she's different! She is a mix of so many things depending on her comfort level -- she can be shy at first and a little skittish, but her explorer nature quickly takes over as she checks out every corner of your house. She loves being close to her humans and really just wants to curl up on your lap! She's great with kids and other dogs. Misty is making great progress on potty training and with a little patience will get there quickly.
