Story
Bruno is a sweetheart of a Jack Russell Terrier mix.. He’s young enough at 2-3 years old, to have energy to still play with all of the other dogs, but old enough to sleep through the night in his crate without making a peep. He is interested in the cats but very respectful. He gets along with all the dogs in the house. He’s a little shy with people at first, but once he’s decided, you are his person he becomes your little shadow. Bruno is looking for someone who enjoys sitting on the couch and hanging out. He does well on the leash and is excited to find his forever home. To meet Bruno please fill out the adoption application at Trevorsanimalrescue.com and we will get a meeting scheduled. ##2634488##

Story
0126001 - Meet Hazel A 2 year-old, ~15 lb. Terrier mix who is ready to find her forever home through Sloppy Kisses Animal Rescue. Hazel came to us from New Mexico, where life was not kind to her and she ended up on a high-kill shelter, she also survived distemper and is now happily distemper-free and recently arrived in Colorado. Hazel is learning how to be a dog for the very first time — feeling grass under her paws, exploring her surroundings, and cautiously learning to trust. She is very skittish and guarded, but incredibly curious. She follows her foster family around, wanting to be part of things, even if she’s not quite brave enough yet. She tends to prefer women over men and would do best in a calm environment with older children to avoid being overwhelmed. Hazel does wonderfully with other dogs. Since arriving in her foster home, she has become best friends with the family dog, Daisy,(who also is a Sloppy Kisses rescue) and the two spend much of their day playing, stealing toys, basking in the sun, and going on walks together. Hazel gains confidence from canine companionship and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog, she also does fine with cats. Once Hazel feels safe, her playful, puppy-like personality starts to shine through. She’s treat-motivated, LOVES scratches behind the ears, walks well on a leash, and is doing great with potty training — comfortable using puppy pads and having had very few accidents. She can sleep in a kennel, though she doesn’t prefer it, and likes to sleep in the same room as her foster family. She sleeps through the night without issues. Hazel has been through so much already and truly deserves a patient, understanding home that will give her the time, love, and support she needs to build confidence and fully come out of her shell. For the right person, Hazel will be an incredibly special companion and best friend. If you’re looking to make a meaningful difference in a dog’s life, Hazel is waiting. To adopt her complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2628543##

Story
Meet Yuri She’s doing amazing with crate training — sleeps through the night and settles well when left alone for a few hours. Yuri is medium to high energy and very food motivated, making her a smart and fun pup to work with. She LOVES people and belly rubs and is still learning that puppy bites aren’t the best way to show excitement She’s curious, playful, and cuddly once she’s worn out, especially when it’s time to relax on the couch. Yuri plays great with every dog she’s met, including our sweet 10-year-old, and would make an awesome addition to an active, loving home Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals.   You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2616974##

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Litter was transferred to Colorado Puppy Rescue from Furever Friends of Grant County (Kansas). Per partner notes, the puppies originated from a hoarding situation in Oklahoma involving 13 dogs total in the home. CPR took 12 dogs from the situation, with 1 dog placed elsewhere. Puppies are approximately 8 months old, estimated 20-30 lbs, and arrived fixed and up to date on vaccines. From the foster: Dash is a very sweet boy, perfectly medium sized, and surprisingly soft. He loves our 8 year old daughter and is very tolerant of our 6 month old pup who desperately wants to play with him, he just has no interest in reciprocating. He is more of a people lover and wants cuddles and pets. He is hesitant and nervous in new environments, but has come a long way at our house in just a couple days. I tried to take him on a walk but so far isn't a fan of being on a leash. I'm sure he'd warm up to it once he feels safe, but I didn't want to force it. He does really enjoy hanging out in our backyard though. So far I haven't heard any barks, just some whimpers. He also knows to go potty outside and has only had accidents at night - so I will start putting him in his crate at night. He should thrive in a stable, safe environment where he can feel the comfort of his people. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

From the foster: Chitchat has come a long way since leaving deplorable conditions to foster with us. From a pup who was afraid to have us touch her, she now feels comfortable approaching people. It is a joy to see her tail wag upon greeting one of us. Chitchat enjoys laying beside her foster parents and soaks up every ounce of love we can give her. This cutie is working on her potty training. She sleeps through the night in her crate in our bedroom. Her confidence grows with quiet and slow introduction to the world around her. Chitchat will enjoy having someone at home with her the majority of time. She does best in a quiet environment. Chitchat would do well as an only dog or with a mature dog that is indifferent to her being there. Chitchat has a lot of love to give the family that has the patience to love and help her reach her full potential. Could that be you? www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
