Story
Meet Walnut, an adorable 4-month-old Jack Russell mix who's ready to wiggle his way into your heart! This little bundle of joy was sadly left at a high-kill shelter when his owner could no longer care for him, but now he's been given a second chance at life, thanks to Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue. Walnut is a playful pup with boundless energy and a sweet disposition. His favorite activities include chasing after toys, frolicking in the yard, and cuddling up for a nap after a fun-filled day. This lovable little guy is eager to find a forever family who will shower him with love and give him the care he deserves. If you're looking for a lively, affectionate companion to brighten your days, Walnut might just be the perfect match for you! Story
Calypso is a tiny girl weighing only 15 pounds. She was rescued from a gas station where her people abandoned her. Calypso waited patiently for months, hoping for someone to come to her aid. When we learned of her plight we rallied to her rescue and she was welcomed into a loving foster home where she could finally feel safe and loved. Calypso adores being held and since she is so small, she is going to be a rockstar cuddler! She adores her foster mom as well as the other dogs in her home and is special friends with Canyon who was also rescued from the same gas station. They love playing together! She does get nervous if a new dog approaches too quickly or gets up in her face and will bark to let them know. Calypso is a huge fan of treats and takes them every so gently from your hand. She is very ladylike and eats them so daintily. Calypso is still quite shy and will thrive in a calm home. She just needs time to settle in and figure out that she is home. No majic wand or super powers needed - just common sense and love. Our best estimate on Calypso's age is around 11 months and she is quite small and likely will not get much bigger than her current 15 pounds. We think she is a Small Terrier / Chihuahua mix. Calypso promises to be a faithful companion who will never let you forget the difference you made in her life.  Here is a nice update from Calypso's foster mom: Calypso has started to enjoy being picked up and and she relaxes now when I hold her. She dances shyly when I approach, makes a submissive smile, and a cute sound. At a petite 15 pounds, I think she will make a wonderful lapdog; she will take time to warm up and will need a very patient adopter. She would probably be best in a home with a single woman with calm energy. Everything about her body language is submissive, with me and other dogs. She fears bigger dogs and will bark at them if she is in her crate or a kennel outside, but she will try to hide if she’s loose in the yard and another dog comes out. She seems fearful about getting too far from the house and will mostly stay on the porch unless I carry her out into the yard. She is a sweet girl, just terrified. I truly think both were born on the street, and I am the only person ever to touch them. She likes to shred stuffed toys and is very quiet and content in her crate unless another dog approaches then she will bark defensively. I assume Calypso will always be afraid of new people. She could surprise me, but she would do best in a quiet home with few people coming and going. A single homebody or quiet couple with calm energy would be ideal. She would be OK with another dog, I think, as long as they aren't large, high-energy, or rough. She enjoys gentle play with Canyon. She needs understanding adopters, preferably attracted to helping a shy dog overcome fear and feel comfortable in a home. Really sweet and amazing dog with so much love to give. If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2086188##

Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs are mixed breeds. We never guarantee the size, breed, or temperment of any of our puppies.  ##2075322##

Story
Little Lara is a sweet and spunky girl. She really enjoys people and has slowly started opening up to her foster sis, becoming more playful by the day with her and with other dogs. Don’t be fooled by her small size, she has proven to be a skilled escape artist, having cleared a 5ft fence with ease (had to chase after the squirrels). She loves a good game of fetch and is very interested in the neighborhood squirrels and bunnies, wanting to spend all day chasing them if she could. She doesn’t love being in a crate but has been getting better at going in there for extended periods of time. She is learning to walk on a leash and has been doing great on walks and exploring new places around Denver. Lara’s personality has transformed since her first few days at her foster home and she is ready to find a forever home where she can enjoy a nice happy life of belly rubs and cheese sticks. ##2061341##

Story
0823255 - Omar is a young, energetic 25-30lb terrier mix. He is a very sweet ball of energy that loves being around people and would likely do well with other dog playmates that can handle his enthusiasm. He is crate trained and hasn’t had any accidents in the house. Omar would benefit from sort of structured training to help harness his energy. He loves all people and would love nothing more than to snuggle up with you on the couch. He can be a little nippy if he wants your attention so because of this kids 10yo + are recommended.  If you’re interested in adopting Omar, head to sloppykisses.org/adoptions to fill out an application. ##1808365##
