Story
Grace was born in a vacant lot in San Antonio, Texas, BUT she was one of the lucky ones to be rescued by one of our San Antonio rescuers Destiny! Grace is super sweet- we cannot emphasize this enough! She likes to cuddle and sit on your lap and will sit on the couch and watch tv with you- she's pretty chill for her young age. She acts as maternal figure to her siblings so she is very nurturing. Grace has made the trip up to Colorado from San Antonio, Texas and is ready to meet you! ##2416507##

Story
Mickey was found huddled in a San Antonio, Texas McDonalds drive through while humans drove by, more worried about their McMuffins then this muffin.  Mickey is obsessed with kids! He takes to them quicker then adults and they help him come out of his shell. Mickey is very nervous at first and has to come to you- understandable based on where he came from. He likes to play with your hands and will hold your hand still so he can nibble on it Mickey is hanging tight with his rescuer in San Antonio, Texas, waiting for a committed adopter or foster to put on an order for him to come up to Colorado. ##2401258##

Story
Meet Bluey – a tiny bundle of joy with a big personality and an even bigger heart!Bluey is a 3-year-old Rat Terrier who weighs just 7 pounds, but she’s packed with energy, charm, and love to spare. This little girl is bursting with personality and thrives on human connection—she’s the kind of dog who lights up the room and makes fast friends with everyone she meets.Bluey is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of life. She absolutely adores being the center of attention and will happily soak up all the love you have to give. Whether she’s being held in your arms, bouncing around with excitement, or curling up in your lap after playtime, she’s always happiest when she’s close to her people. She truly lives for companionship and will be your biggest fan from the moment you meet her.Though she loves being around other dogs and can be quite playful, her heart belongs to humans. Bluey is energetic and thrives on interaction—she’ll do best in a home that can match her enthusiasm and give her plenty of opportunities to be active, loved, and included. If you’re looking for a lively, affectionate little companion who will shower you with attention and devotion, Bluey may just be your perfect match.****Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Story
**Meet Cowgirl!**This 15-pound rat terrier is packed with personality and always ready to ride into fun. Cowgirl is an energetic, toy-loving gal who never turns down a squeaky toy or a walk around the neighborhood. If you hear a squeak, she’s not far—probably inviting you to a game of tug-of-war! She’s confident and affectionate, often guiding your hand to let you know it’s time for pets or play. Cowgirl gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is respectful of their boundaries. She’d thrive in an active home with playful pup siblings and humans who can match her enthusiasm. She’s making great progress with potty training and sleeps soundly through the night. She’s also learning that the kennel isn’t such a bad place—especially when treats are involved! Because she can be a little mouthy when excited, she’s best suited for families with kids 10 and up who can help channel her energy in positive ways. If you're looking for a sassy sidekick with a big heart and even bigger personality, Cowgirl is your girl! If you're interested in meeting her please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in her!) Her adoption fee is $350 and she is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##2384383##

Story
Dobby's past wasn't great, but we are changing his future. He is recovering from a allergic flare up & his hair is growing back. He LOVES his foster family, but his mom is his favorite! He is dog & cat friendly, but he would love to be his momma's #1 guy. He has had some poor treatment from the children in his last home so he will not go to a home where young kids are.
