Story
Meet Colby Jack! Colby is a happy 4 year old Jack RussellBoxer mix. Colby adores being with his people especially when he gets lots of cuddles. He leans into your leg when he's getting lovies and shows you his big smile! Colby enjoys hanging out with laid back dogs. He and his foster sister, Elly, enjoy rambling around the backyard finding new things to sniff.  He weighs approximately 35lbs which is a good, manageable size for your lap!. He loves to play with humans but may be a bit too playful for toddlers or younger children. He’s crate trained but it is not his favorite place to be. He walks well on a leash and would make a great hiking or running buddy. Colby spent the first year of his life on a chain and has really blossomed into a very loving dog who craves attention. We think Colby would do best with a family that doesn't live in a congested area with lots of noise and has another dog to play with. He doesn't care for delivery trucks entering his domain or lots of strangers. Colby is very smart but craves attention and stong leadership, He really needs a strong pack leader to help him along his journey. . He passed his professional obedience training with flying colors so he already knows the basics. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. Colby is available for adoption at www.dirtroaddoggiesrescue.org         ##1087310##

Story
Heeeeyyy! I’m Rowdy and I am a balllllll dog! I just returned from several weeks in training to become the best dog I can be. I am a young (two years), bright, and lively boy who sometimes gets a little too lively! I’m still learning to ramp myself down, so I need an experienced adopter. I also need an active home with no cats, other dogs, or children. Lure coursing? Barn hunting? Those sound like fantastic places to focus my terrier energy! I am not a couch potato, although I will snuggle when fully worn out. I’m not suitable for apartment or condo living and I need a secure, above-ground, fenced yard to keep my energy contained. Story
Hey, guys! Ollie here. They say I am a handsome boy … and a hot mess! Who me?! Not sure what that means but I am sure it’s good because I am grand, baby! I came from an unknown but probably not good background. I just got neutered, which they which say will help install a brain, but I lived two or three years without one so I’m not sure I need it! 🙂 Got my shots, too. I’m about 14 pounds and devilishly good-looking. I am not familiar with houses at all. I can leave a clean crate overnight but I will pee the instant I get out. Mama Donna says she loves me anyway, but also says I need a belly band until I get some proper training. I get along with other dogs just fine. I do need a secure, above-ground fenced yard because I will wander off without meaning to. What can I say, there are so many things to see and sniff! Story
Hey, You, I think you are awesome! I haven't even met you yet, but I LOVE everyone I meet. I am Oskar Diego. I am about five years old and weigh forty-five pounds.   And while I only have a few teeth in the back of my mouth (just enough to chew delicious treats),  I'm strong and healthy! I have a good solid poop, you humans love that, right?  I am pretty good at walking on a leash. I enjoy spending time on the deck with you; staying inside is cool as long as we are together.  Not that I'm not good on my own; I'm a pretty self-sufficient young man, but I like to be near.  If you work from home or are home often, I will follow you and lie close to you. I want to be close to my people. But if you need to leave for a day, it's ok, I probably will nap all day. I have a good balance of sleep and play throughout the day.   I may take my time getting used to other pets, but I have experience living with other dogs, so I'm sure it's going to be ok. You will need to learn to shower me, because I may be scared of squirting water. And I have a strong personality: if I don't want to do something - you're going to hear about it. So, bring treats. They help to build trust and friendship between us. I am looking for: 1. A home where I can sit on the furniture with you and preferably on you! 2. A family that appreciates all of my kisses and hugs. I give A LOT of them! 3. A family that will be patient as I continue to learn good manners. 4. a family will treat me with respect: don't yell at me (I'm very well-behaved, I don't deserve it) and don't pull or jerk me around (my body - my rules). If you want anything from me - show a treat - I'm very smart, we will figure it out  I am extremely loving and looking to share my love with a family!           An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:  Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Very friendly dog. Crate trained but barks a lot when she is tired of being in her crate. She is house broken, but not leash trained (pulls when walking). It is best to walk her on a harness. She is friendly with kids but because she does jump on you so most kids do not like her unless they are use to being with dogs.I am not sure how she is with cats because we don’t have any, but I wouldn’t trust her with a cat because she is always trying to chase squirrels and birds. She has had a temperament test for her doggie daycare and she passed. She loves playing with other dogs, but will get snippy when she is tried of playing. She plays aggressive but she is very friendly, just rough when playing. Shots are up to date. She does need to be walked a lot because she has a lot of energy. I walk her a mile and half daily (split into three walks) She only eats dry food mixed with wet (a little spoiled). Loves to cuddle!
