Story

Willow is a little over a year, her birthday being in April. She is a husky/ terrier mix. She is the most lovable dog ever who just wants to snuggle up with you and get love. Unfortunately, my apartment complex has complained about her barking when I’m not home and they have made it a big issue. I work quite a bit and it’s not fair to her that I am not home enough to be with her. When I am home though, I don’t deal with this issue. I feel a lot of it has to do with the apartment environment and hearing noises all the time but in general, she is a really good dog. She loves chewing on bones and playing with toys. She loves running and playing with other animals and humans. She is potty trained mainly with a few accidents here and there but she will let you know when she has to use the bathroom. Again, I hate doing this but she is too good of a dog to let anything happen to her and she really needs to go to a loving home.

And while I only have a few teeth in the back of my mouth (just enough to chew delicious treats), I'm strong and healthy! I have a good solid poop, you humans love that, right? I am pretty good at walking on a leash. I enjoy spending time on the deck with you; staying inside is cool as long as we are together. Not that I'm not good on my own; I'm a pretty self-sufficient young man, but I like to be near. If you work from home or are home often, I will follow you and lie close to you. I want to be close to my people. But if you need to leave for a day, it's ok, I probably will nap all day. I have a good balance of sleep and play throughout the day. I may take my time getting used to other pets, but I have experience living with other dogs, so I'm sure it's going to be ok. You will need to learn to shower me, because I may be scared of squirting water. And I have a strong personality: if I don't want to do something - you're going to hear about it. So, bring treats. They help to build trust and friendship between us. I am looking for: 1. A home where I can sit on the furniture with you and preferably on you! 2. A family that appreciates all of my kisses and hugs. I give A LOT of them! 3. Adorable lap dog in search of a loving lap! Meet Freddy, a 5 year old, 13 pound, Jack Russell Terrier mix (probably some Chihuahua in there also). His hobbies include cuddling, snacking, and following his person around to keep an eye on them. If you've ever wanted a wingman, he's your guy. Freddy is house trained and crate trained. He walks well on leash with some encouragement. He does not require a fenced yard, and if you have one, he will want you to walk around with him anyway while he takes care of business. He currently lives with multiple other dogs of various sizes, but he's not interested in playing with them. He is 100% focused on his person. Freddy's experience with cats is unknown, but he'd likely be fine living with one. Freddy loves all people of all sizes and ages, though he can be a bit shy at first. He warms up quickly though, especially if you have treats. Freddy has the nickname 'Pipsqueak' because he is tiny and is more likely to do a high pitched squeak than a normal bark. He sometimes “sings the song of his people” for a bit when left alone, so it would be best if he did not live in an apartment, condo, or townhome with shared walls. Last July Kookie was found by a rescue team that was driving by with her other siblings. My oldest daughter seen this on Facebook by the rescuers and how they wanted to find the puppy’s a new home. She decided on getting Kookie as a graduation gift for my other daughter. Ever since we’ve had Kookie she has been full of energy ready to take anything. She loves her blue blanket which is shown in one of the pictures that she plays Tugawar with every day. Through out the months we’ve made so many memories with Kookie but due to busy schedules we believe it will be best for her to have a new home. Kookie has been given all of the loving care she needs and we hope that she’ll find a new family that can give her the same amount and even more.
