Story

Sushi is being fostered in CT. Sushi loves to cuddle and would love to have her own person and family; however she would do best as an only dog so she can get all the love to herself. She travels great in the car and will either sit on your lap for a short trip or in the backseat with a doggy car seat. She is housetrained and will go to the door to let you know she has to go potty. She eats like a champ and takes her insulin well. She also does great at the vet and loves her vet clinic friends. She sleeps through the night and is very easy going. Sushi is not interested in toys but loves to chew on vet approved bones. She loves to sleep on the couch with a comfy blanket, and she uses dog steps to get on. She can safely jump down as long as the floor is not slippery. I have a dog stroller for Sushi and she happily will sit in it and go for a ride or sleep in it when I am sitting at the computer. She enjoys going for short walks and gets excited when you put her leash on! She also does a very funny trot out in the backyard. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Sadly, his owner declined to reclaim him so we scooped him up for the rescue. Beni Boy, true to his breed, is a happy and energetic pup! Pantera LOVES people, get to know her cuz shes curious. She like to be around to have easy access to her family, she does not shed. She eats dog healthy human food. Shes used to eating at 10am and 5pm, this can be changed. She likes to play but please, dont give her a ball if youre going to take it away, training with ball may be required. Pantera also gets comfortable for those who love their animals on furniture, if you want her off she obeys. Pantera is bilingual, English and Spanish. She has gotten comfy being around a bigger dog, but that dog is male so if shes introduced to other pets, just know that. She obeys but if she wants to be around enough, she sneaks. She knows how to stand with command up up and she spins and barks both together with spin (circle finger around her if it fails). She also knows lay down but she has trouble with it. She can be territorial, she likes to window watch and bark. Other animals are new to her, introduce her slowly.
