Story
Charm is one of three tiny sisters and the smallest of the litter, but absolutely the most energetic. She’s a nonstop tail-shaker with zero hesitation about inviting everyone, dogs and humans alike, into a game. Her signature move is the classic play-pose, and she uses it often. Despite her big energy, Charm also loves being held like a baby whenever the opportunity presents itself. Her short little legs give her serious toy-puppy vibes, and she fully leans into it. She’s confident, social, and endlessly entertaining in a compact package. Charm is currently learning potty training basics and is being crate-trained, making steady, age-appropriate progress. Rescue story: Charm and her sisters, Trinket and Treasure, were surrendered by their family. While the family agreed to have their mama dog spayed, they declined to surrender her.   This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.) To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. PLEASE READ:  •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.  •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.    •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments. Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well. Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation. For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. Story
Treasure is one of three tiny sisters and the largest and most confident puppy of the litter. She’s curious, bold, and always eager to explore her surroundings. Treasure is especially intrigued by cats and would very much like to go “talk” to them. She’s an adventurer who will happily investigate new patches of grass or approach new dogs long before her sisters feel ready.   Because she’s a bit of a daredevil, Treasure will do best in a home where she has appropriate supervision and guidance as she grows. She’s currently learning potty training basics and is crate-trained, making great progress for her age.   Rescue story: Treasure and her sisters, Charm and Trinket, were surrendered by their family. While the family agreed to have their mama dog spayed, they declined to surrender her.   This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. Story
Dot says “15 who?” We think you meant 5. Dot is still spry, present, and fully part of the pack. Don’t let the number fool you. This girl is not done living. She’s engaged, social, and clearly enjoying her days. Dot was seized as part of a cruelty case after she and her friend Lola were found abandoned in a home, left to fend for themselves for weeks in unsafe conditions surrounded by trash, feces, and urine. What she endured is heartbreaking. What’s remarkable is who she still is despite it. Dot is a true testament to resilience, strength, and an unshakable will to live. She does well with dogs of all ages and sizes and is also good with cats. Prior to being abandoned, Dot lived with children of various ages and handled that environment well. Now it’s her turn to be cherished. Dot is looking for a home where she can keep rocking her golden years, surrounded by comfort, kindness, and people who see her not as “old,” but as exactly who she is. A good dog with plenty of life left to enjoy.   This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. Story
Trinket is one of three tiny sisters and the definition of quietly sweet. She’s the middle baby of the litter, not the boldest and not the smallest, but perfectly balanced in both size and personality. At 8.4 lbs, she sits right between her sisters and carries herself the same way: thoughtful, gentle, and observant.   She can be shy when meeting new people, and instead of charging in, Trinket prefers to be held like a baby until she feels safe. Once she does, she settles quickly and shows her soft, affectionate side. She’s not dramatic or chaotic, just a tender little soul who likes reassurance and consistency.   Trinket is currently learning potty training basics and is being crate-trained. She’s doing exactly what a puppy her age should be doing, making steady progress with structure and routine.   Rescue story: Trinket and her sisters, Charm and Treasure, were surrendered by their family. The family agreed to have their mama dog spayed but chose not to surrender her.   This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. Story
Galaxy is a super star of a pup! He is a very sweet and curious boy who is great with other dogs, including large dogs. He is very interested in cats, but just really really wants to play with them. He respects the elder spicy kitty's warnings to back off and plays with the youngest cat. He is fully potty trained and sleeps in his kennel all night like a dream. He loves a good lap snuggle, especially for an after-play nap. Do you love puppy spunk and sweetness but don't want the sleepless nights and potty training hassles?Galaxy will make your universe complete This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered.
