Meet Snoopy! This scruffy little gentleman is a whirlwind of excitement and love all wrapped up in a fifteen pound package. Snoopy is shy and nervous around new people, but his trust is worth the effort. Give him some time and a few dozen snacks and he'll be barking with excitement and bouncing impossibly high in the air when he sees his person. Snoopy came from a home where he didn't receive much socialization so he's still learning about the outside world and everything new might be a little scary. Snoopy has made so much progress while in our care - he's grown to love and trust staff, realized how much fun zoomies and yard-time is, and even learned to walk on leash! Snoopy is housed with another dog from his previous home, Fortune Cookie. He would benefit from going home with Cookie but could also find a home of his own with the right family. Snoopy is in our special adoption program which provides aditional counseling to set adopters and their new pets up for success. Snoopy would do best in a quiet adult only home. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is on monthly heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. He’s crate trained, house trained, and overall a very well-mannered boy. Pablo gets along great with dogs his size or smaller, but he can be a bit bossy with larger dogs. He’s not cat-friendly — not aggressive, but he loves to chase cats, which can make things stressful for them. He’s done well meeting polite, well-behaved children at adoption events and would do fine in a calm home with older or gentle kids. This handsome little guy loves walks, car rides, and curling up for cuddles on the couch (bonus points if there’s a blanket involved!). He’s also happy to sleep in a dog bed, on a blanket, or even in his crate without fuss. Pablo would love a securely fenced yard to explore because he does have a curious side and enjoys visiting the neighbors when given the chance — so a fence or leashed walks are a must for his safety. If you’re looking for a smart, cuddly, and devoted little dog with a big personality, Pablo might just be the one for you. Meet Skipper! ❤️ 🐾 Skipper is (estimated at 9 years young) an auburn chipper male. Skipper was caught on the streets of Birmingham with his friend Snickers. So, we honestly think they came from the same home. Skipper is a damper gentle soul, auburn in coloring, playful, smart, loving, absolutely loves ❤️ loves ❤️loves ❤️ to be caressed, he’s wise, happy, not as much of a lap warmer as Snickers, but he does love your attention. He has long graceful legs and is a hoot. 😂 He loves car rides and does perfectly when traveling! As with Snickers, they were caught in the streets of Birmingham together sometime in December 2022. Both are both house trained with regular trips outside. A fenced backyard would be great and preferred! Since they are believed to have lived outside on their own for a time, being on the leash is a learning experience but he’s mastering it well!
