After being fostered for nearly a year and undergoing slow-kill treatment for heartworms, I’m pleased to announce that Apple is now heartworm negative and available for adoption! She weighs under 25 pounds, is potty trained, crate trained, and does know some commands. In addition to many positive traits, she’s also the most loving and affectionate little girl. Makes the perfect little lap dog. She loves kids and gets along great with cats! Apple is fully vetted: spayed, up to date on annual vaccines, and heartworm negative! She appears to have terrier and Chihuahua in her. As much as she loves people, she’s very dog selective and is nervous around big dogs. So a single dog household would probably be best. We believe that she’s about two years old. Her adoption fee locally is $175. To Adopt up north it would be $450 to cover transport as well as additional veterinary cost. Sweet little Bea was running around rural Georgia with her sidekick for several weeks after apparently being dumped. Everybody in the area said they were friendly, but no one knew them so they called animal control. The girls were very bonded at first, but we feel like their first love is people. They want to love people and be loved so badly but when they didn’t have any people, they became very attached to each other. Her sidekick has now found her forever home and it’s Miss Bea’s turn now. She’s exceptionally sweet and outgoing. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She also loves to snuggle on the couch. Bea is 22 pounds and between four and five years old. WE ARE ONLY GUESSING AT HER BREED! She does not really have a JRT temperament but she has the size and cute little short tail. She is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm tested negative. She appears to be a very healthy and happy girl.
