Story
This is Norman. He is such a sweet boy. He loves to cuddle up and be next to his owner. He enjoys a quieter home where there isnt a bunch of chaos. He is neutered, and would thrive in a home where the owners are home and can let him out frequently. He tends to get nervous on occasion and will hide in the corner until he feels secure. Very loving and very snuggly! Gets along with other dogs great!

Story
Rehoming a sweet senior rescue named Kevin / Buddy. He is 9 y/o, 25 lbs, up to date on shots, neutered, kennel trained and potty trained. He knows basic commands like sit, come here, lie down, stay, get off (bed/couch), drop it (toy/ball) and kennel. He has separation anxiety so he does best with someone that will be home most of the time and can sleep in bed with him. He currently takes an antidepressant every day to help with his separation anxiety. He means the world to me, but I'm not able to provide the life that he needs anymore. I would like text/picture updates on him every now and then if I can after rehoming him. I can provide vet records, his medications (6 month supply of his daily antidepressants and 6 month supply of simparica trio), pet supplies such as food bowls, 2 kennels, pet beds, blankets, etc., and one 35 lb bag of dog food.

Story
There’s something so special about Shania — something that can’t quite be captured in a photo. At just 9 months old and 12 pounds, this Parsons Terrier/Westie mix has already been through more than most dogs her age, yet she radiates quiet hope and sweetness. When you first meet her, she may hang back a little, unsure of what to expect. But once she realizes you’re kind, she softens — her tail gives a shy wag, and her eyes begin to sparkle. You can almost see her heart opening up as she learns to trust. That’s Shania’s magic — she doesn’t just love; she chooses you, one gentle moment at a time. Shania loves other dogs and would thrive in a home where she can have a friendly canine companion or calm human friends to help her continue to blossom. She’d do best with older children or adults, as younger ones have been unkind to her in the past. She deserves a peaceful, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. She’s fully vetted, spayed, and ready to begin her new life — one filled with kindness, stability, and love. Shania’s foster family says everyone who meets her is captivated by her tender personality and soulful spirit. This little treasure is ready to start fresh and discover what it feels like to be truly loved. If you can give her that gift, she’ll return it tenfold. Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to learn more about adopting Shania. She’s in Tennessee and can travel north on one of our weekend transports. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 16, 2025, 12:23 am

Story
Meet Uno! *Please read full bio before inquiring.* Cross-posted. Breed: JRT/chihuahua mix. Age: approx 2 years (8/25/23). Weight: est 24ish lbs. Training: crate trained, it's his safe place. House trained when on a schedule. He isn't leash trained. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes to dogs, no to cats. Good with adults/kids? Adults/kids he knows, yes. Only kids 10+. Personality: loves his people. He loves sunbathing and being a couch potato, and overall snuggling. He is scared of thunderstorms. Reason for rescue: Uno has been much loved, but unfortunately it is best for him to find a home with kids 10 years +. Uno loves his people with his whole heart. He is very loyal to his people. He doesn't do well with strangers coming into his home/yard. He would do best with a fenced yard. He has been trained on an invisible fence and it works well for him. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If interested in adding Uno to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $75.September 16, 2025, 9:50 pm
