Story
Wish aka Wishbone is a jack Russel terrier . 1 year old and 8 pounds . She is so loving. Great with all people, kids, dogs and cats. She is a bit shy at first but VERY quickly warms up and loves attention. She will follow her people everywhere, walks well on a leash. Very playful and silly, loyal, happy and and an all around fantastic dog. That being said , Wish is a JRT and we would love for whomever is thinking of adopter her, research the breed and be sure a JRT is the right fit for your family. She needs an family and a home with other dogs. She is smart , and somewhat active but really loves to cuddle and is not overly hyper. She does need social activity but also will love her rainy days binge watching your favorite shows. She is a really good dog and will be easy to train , consistency is key with a JRT 🙂 Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given. Story
Meet Milk – A Gentle Soul with a Playful Heart • Name: Milk • Age: 6 months • Sex: Neutered Male • Breed: Terrier/Jindo Mix • Weight: 11 kg (24 lbs) • Height (Shoulder): 43 cm (17 in) • Neutered: Yes   Personality & Temperament Milk is a sweet, sensitive pup who is still learning to navigate the big world. In unfamiliar environments or when meeting new people, he tends to be cautious and may bark awkwardly as a way to express his nervousness. However, his trust builds quickly—especially if you have treats! Once he feels safe, he allows gentle petting and becomes a very affectionate companion. He may need a bit more time to adjust if placed alone in a brand-new space, as he’s grown up in a group of puppies and feels most at ease with familiar company. That said, Milk is curious, responsive, and eager to connect once given a little time and patience. When in a good mood, he will even approach people first and seek out affection. With Children Milk does well with children under 13, especially when they approach him gently and calmly. He may initially be startled by sudden movements or loud noises but adjusts quickly with repeated, positive interactions. Once comfortable, he is a sweet and loyal friend to kids. He can be carried by placing an arm under his belly and is comfortable being held or cuddled. With Other Dogs Milk is very dog-social and enjoys greeting and playing with other dogs. He is generally more comfortable with dogs of a similar or smaller size. He handles rough play well and enjoys active interaction, but will steer clear of overly hyper or pushy dogs. He doesn’t exhibit dominant behavior and is good at reading other dogs’ signals. Energy & Activity Milk is a young pup, so he has a playful spirit—especially outdoors. He enjoys short bursts of play with his peers and then returns to rest quietly in his spot. Indoors, he’s relatively calm for a puppy his age. He has moderate energy levels and would benefit from daily walks and consistent playtime to keep him happy and healthy. Walking & Leash Skills Milk is still gaining confidence on walks, especially in unfamiliar areas or when walking with new people. He may stop or hesitate, but he doesn’t pull and can be guided with gentle encouragement. He’s not reactive to cats or cars on walks and is more focused on his handler than on distractions. With consistency and positive reinforcement, his walking confidence is expected to improve quickly. With Cats Milk has shown no strong reaction to cats he’s seen outdoors. While he doesn’t seem particularly interested in them, a formal cat test can be arranged for homes with resident cats. Crate & Car Milk is calm in the crate during transport but experiences mild motion sickness. He cannot jump into the car by himself yet and still needs to be lifted in. With time and positive associations, this may improve. At Home • House-trained to go potty outdoors • No food/resource guarding toward humans or dogs • No separation anxiety, though he may feel a little uneasy initially if adopted alone (due to growing up in a group) Rescue Story Milk was born in a rural greenhouse where a stray mama dog gave birth to puppies. Sadly, the mother was driven away shortly after giving birth, leaving the newborns alone. The puppies were taken in and lovingly raised by a surrogate mother dog who had just given birth to her own litter. One of his siblings, Lia, has already found her forever home in Calgary. Now it’s Milk’s turn to find a loving family of his own. Ideal Home Milk would thrive in a calm, patient home that can offer structure, gentle guidance, and regular walks. He’d do well in a home with other friendly dogs but could also adapt as a solo pup if given time to adjust. First-time adopters are welcome—as long as they’re willing to go slow and help him build confidence in a new world.   Send in your application today through our website https://adoptmekoreanrescue.org/adoption-application/ You can also check his post on Facebook(Link to Post) or Instagram(Link to Post) He can arrive at Vancouver or Toronto airport and may be able to arrive at some US airports (Seattle, LA, NY, Boston etc) where we have flight volunteers. Story
Name: Mongmong Age: 4 years old Sex: Neutered Male Breed: JRT (Jack Russell Terrier) Mix Color: Black, tan, and white Weight: 9.5 kg (20.9 lbs) Height (at shoulder): 32 cm (12.6 inches)   Mongmong is a sweet and affectionate pup who loves people — whether you’re a familiar friend or someone he’s just met, he’ll happily come over for pets and attention. He’s especially gentle with young children and is comfortable being picked up with arms under his belly. Once he warms up, he’ll even show you his belly! He’s curious about other dogs and will approach them to say hello, though he doesn’t typically engage in play. His reaction to cats hasn’t been observed. Mongmong has a moderate energy level and enjoys outdoor activities like walks but settles down calmly afterward. He’s well-behaved on leash, doesn’t pull, and follows his human companion nicely. He is not food-aggressive and is calm in a kennel or during car rides. Mongmong was found injured, likely from a car accident, and was at risk of euthanasia at a municipal shelter. After being rescued, Mongmong had one eye removed due to phthisis bulbi, a condition that caused his eye to shrink and lose function and had hernia surgery on 25.05.01-but he’s recovered beautifully and is now ready for a fresh start Mongmong is a brave little survivor with a heart full of love. He’s looking for a forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and loved — could that be with you? Story
Mila is a 2 year old terrier/hound mix (likely JRT & Beagle) weighing approx 27 lbs. She loves her humans very much and is very playful and affectionate with them. Mila did not start her life off in a bad way but she did miss out on training, boundaries and socialization. For this reason, Mila has spent time with a professional trainer who has fallen in love with her. Unfortunately, there are limits to the number of dogs a person can have! She loves the outdoors and play time! She’s a very active girl and would do great with a dominant larger dog, she can be too rambunctious for a small dog. Mila is an excellent girl at home when you have to go out, just make sure you have the perfect window for her to neighborhood watch from! She is obviously a high energy girl but likes nothing more than to be tucked in beside her person on the couch!! She gives great hugs and kisses!! Mila will require an experienced owner and home without children under the age of 7. She loves kids but is still learning boundaries. Her adopter will be able to take advantage of some professional advise from her trainer in order to keep Mila improving. Training consistency will be key to keeping Mila on track with her progression. Mila is currently being fostered in Newmarket, ON. If you are interested in adopting Mila, please complete an application on our website: https://www.jrnc.org/adoption-application

Story
"MISTY" is a KOKONI/JACK RUSSELL MIX about 2 years old and weighs approx. 6 kg or 12 pounds. Anastasia found her while going to the market, just walking on the side of a highly trafficked road, right by the exit to the highway. She immediately picked her up - thanking the Heavens the little dog didn’t follow the way leading to the big artery. After a brief visit with our vet for all the proper exams and a clean health bill she brought her to our sanctuary, where jolly "MISTY" fit right in with all our guests. "MISTY" proved very social with animals (dogs and cats) and people. She is inquisitive, playful and fearless. She loves to play with our puppies and then come to the volunteers for her share of pets and cuddles. "MISTY" is very intelligent and quite food oriented, a combination that makes her easily trainable. We have fully vetted, vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed "MISTY" all the while making sure she gets housebroken and leash trained. "MISTY" would be happy in any sort of family setting. If interested in adopting our clever girl "MISTY" please visit our website to fill out an application at; www.straypawsfromgreece.com Please also SHARE this posting to help us find her a forever family and home

Story
Quick Facts Name: Suil  Age: 5 years old approximate  Gender: Male Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Terrier Mix  Color: Brown & White & Black  Weight: 8.9kg    My Health‍ Hi, I’m Suil! I may have had a tough start, but I’m healthy and ready to find my forever home. I’ve been fully vaccinated, neutered, and have completed my treatment for heartworm. I also had surgery on my right leg, and while I only have three legs now, that doesn’t slow me down! I enjoy my walks and playtime just like any other pup. My soft coat and bright eyes are just a small part of what makes me special.   My Personality I’m a lively and playful boy with a heart full of love. When I feel comfortable, I love to play with my favorite people—sometimes even with a little paw-tag game! My friends say I’m charming and full of personality, and once I trust you, I’ll be your most loyal companion. I can be a little reserved when I first meet new people, but if you offer me a tasty treat, I’ll warm up in no time! Once we become friends, I’ll greet you with a wagging tail and a happy heart every time I see you. I also have a soft spot for squeaky toys—so much that I might even choose one over a treat!   My Social Life     •  With People: I love spending time with my trusted humans and enjoy playing together. At first, I might take a moment to observe, but once I know you're a friend, I’ll show you my fun and affectionate side.     •  With Other Dogs: I get along well with dogs my size and prefer calm, friendly companions. I like to take my time meeting new furry friends, so slow introductions work best for me.     •  With Cats: I’m curious about cats when I see them on walks, but I’m easily redirected with a gentle nudge.   On My Walks I’m an experienced walker and follow my human’s lead well. I don’t pull on the leash, and I enjoy exploring at a steady pace. In quieter areas, I feel at ease, but in a place I consider my own territory, I may need a little reassurance when meeting new dogs. With gentle guidance, I learn quickly and love getting out for fresh air and adventure!   Life at Home I’m a well-mannered pup who thrives in a home where I can feel safe and loved. I settle nicely in my kennel when needed, and I’m great at both indoor pad training and outdoor potty breaks. Since I’m a boy, I might mark in a brand-new place at first, but with a little patience, I quickly learn the house rules. I’m not much of a barker, but I do like to announce when someone new arrives—just to make sure my family is aware! When I feel at home, I love to play, cuddle, and share sweet moments with my humans.   My Ideal Home I’m looking for a family who will love and understand me for the wonderful dog I am. My perfect home would include:     •  A Patient Companion: I build trust at my own pace, and once I do, I’ll be the most devoted friend you could ask for.     •  A Playful Environment: I have an energetic, fun-loving side, and I’d love a home that enjoys playtime and little adventures together.   Special Notes If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and loving pup to share your life with, I just might be the one for you! I can’t wait to meet my forever family and start our new adventure together.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22ruL_rf8Ms&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JxVczlYokJ2Ixb-veFf59bB ##2309246##
