If you are interested in adopting, please copy and paste this link into your browser...https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiryThis is the fast way to meeting your new pet.Meet Little Girl and Dixie, these two sweet girls shared a wonderful life with an elderly lady who passed away. Her final wish was that both stayed together and to find a home where they can be loved just as deeply. They are truly the sweetest pups - Gentle, affectionate, and happiest when they are with people. They have met many volunteers and have had plenty of socialization, but what they want the most is a home to call their own.Dixie and Little Girl walk beautifully on leash and are both house and crate trained. They share a special bond and love one another, and it`s our goal to find them a forever home where they can grow old together. Would you help us honor their former owner`s wish by giving these two precious souls a loving, safe home filled with comfort and companionship once again?

Story
Meet Bunny and look at her precious ears! Bunny is a sweet Chihuahua mix, appropriately 1-2 years old, around 12 pounds, housebroken and crate trained. Bunny is good with other dogs, loves people and is kid friendly (school age children). Sweet Bunny loves to go on walks, play with her toys, chase squirrels in the backyard and snuggle up to rest for her next playful adventure. Bunny is as sweet as they come and loves her people. Sadly, Bunny is heartworm positive and will need to be spayed. She will begin her heartworm treatments in November and once the vet gives the okay she will be spayed. But no need to worry because DFW Rescue Me covers those costs at our local vet. But in the meantime, if you&#39re interested in this precious girl, please complete an application at dfwrescueme.org. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.October 18, 2025, 11:38 pm

We are currently having issues with our adoption inquiry webform. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with an animal or multiple animals, please email us directly at info@animalhope.org or call us 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Palmer is a little guy with a big personality—about 15 lbs and 1.5 years old. His adoption fee is $300, though we’re open to adjusting that for the right home. He’s been with us for 8 months, patiently waiting for someone to see past his initial nerves and give him the loving home he deserves. Palmer doesn’t warm up right away and may bite if he feels overwhelmed, but in a calm, predictable environment, he’s made great progress.Though he was originally labeled a bite risk, we’ve seen firsthand how quickly he can adjust—it only took a couple of days for him to bond with our new kennel techs. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance. Palmer still shows stress around new people, so he’ll need someone who understands his boundaries and can give him space to decompress. He would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with little foot traffic. He can be picky with dogs and would likely do best as the only pet, though he’s done well with three calm, respectful dogs currently in our care.If you have a calm home and a patient heart, Palmer could be the perfect fit. Since we do not observe these animals in home settings, we cannot guarantee whether they are housebroken. Upon intake, we ensure the following:Spay/neuter proceduresMicrochippingAll vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (and treatment if necessary)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam, scheduled 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note: Adopters must live within an hour of our facility and be at least 21 years old.Do you have any questions or would you like to schedule an appointment?
