Meet Bunny and look at her precious ears! Bunny is a sweet Chihuahua mix, appropriately 2 years old, around 12 pounds, housebroken and crate trained. Bunny is good with other dogs, loves people and is kid friendly (middle school age children and older please). Sweet Bunny loves to go on walks, play with her toys, chase squirrels in the backyard and snuggle up to rest for her next playful adventure. Bunny is as sweet as they come and loves her people. Sadly, Bunny is heartworm positive and will need to be spayed. She will begin her heartworm treatments in November and once the vet gives the okay she will be spayed. But no need to worry because DFW Rescue Me covers those costs at our local vet. But in the meantime, if you're interested in this precious girl, please complete an application at dfwrescueme.org. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Archiebald Fitzgerald McFearson!His name actually came from how "proper" he seemed to carry himself, it was so funny to see although he gets spooked so easily he remains very curious.I found Archie wandering the streets when he was just a puppy. I am severely allergic to dogs but my heart could not bare to give him up at the time, I have to take care of my health so I can't keep him any longer but he really is the sweetest boy. He loves cuddles, treats and of course long walks. Whether you want to go on a hiking adventure or stay curled up on the couch he's right by your side. He is VERY quiet, he rarely barks and has earned the nickname of "cool guy" with the ladies. He truly is a gentle sweetheart and he is hilarious, we call him our personality hire because of the endless entertainment he provides. He's a lovable goofball and I hope you'll love him just as much as I do.
