His adoption fee is $300, though we’re open to adjusting that for the right home.He’s been with us for 8 months, patiently waiting for someone to see past his initial nerves and give him the loving home he deserves. Palmer doesn’t warm up right away and may bite if he feels overwhelmed, but in a calm, predictable environment, he’s made great progress.Though he was originally labeled a bite risk, we’ve seen firsthand how quickly he can adjust—it only took a couple of days for him to bond with our new kennel techs. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance. Palmer still shows stress around new people, so he’ll need someone who understands his boundaries and can give him space to decompress.He would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with little foot traffic. He can be picky with dogs and would likely do best as the only pet, though he’s done well with three calm, respectful dogs currently in our care.If you have a calm home and a patient heart, Palmer could be the perfect fit. Since we do not observe these animals in home settings, we cannot guarantee whether they are housebroken. Maggie is about 6 years old. She is a very loving dog that loves to give kisses while being petted. She is also still young enough to have enough energy to play fetch and tug of war. Story

Despite experiencing extreme neglect during the first year of his life, Louie has remained incredibly loving, gentle, and full of life. Louie is a little physically deformed on his rear end, but it does not stop him from enjoying life. He can run, play, and keep up just fine. He’s vibrant, happy, and honestly one of the cutest little dogs you’ll meet. His personality is very docile and affectionate. He sleeps in the bed with me and my other dog but does well in a kennel without crying, and goes potty outside when taken out regularly. He deserves soft beds, kindness, patience, and a home where he will never be neglected again. He is VERY versatile and very smart. He really wants to please. He does respond to his name and understands “no”. He can walk with us and mostly ahead of us on our 1 mile walk everyday in a residential neighborhood. He’s like glue once he’s committed to someone so we haven’t tried a leash yet! Let me add that I will also take him back if it doesn’t work out.
