His adoption fee is $300, though we’re open to adjusting that for the right home.He’s been with us for 8 months, patiently waiting for someone to see past his initial nerves and give him the loving home he deserves. Palmer doesn’t warm up right away and may bite if he feels overwhelmed, but in a calm, predictable environment, he’s made great progress.Though he was originally labeled a bite risk, we’ve seen firsthand how quickly he can adjust—it only took a couple of days for him to bond with our new kennel techs. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance. Palmer still shows stress around new people, so he’ll need someone who understands his boundaries and can give him space to decompress.He would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with little foot traffic. He can be picky with dogs and would likely do best as the only pet, though he’s done well with three calm, respectful dogs currently in our care.If you have a calm home and a patient heart, Palmer could be the perfect fit. Since we do not observe these animals in home settings, we cannot guarantee whether they are housebroken. Through no fault of his own, Nemo found himself searching for a new place to call home.Nemo can be a little timid when meeting new people, but give him a moment and you'll discover what we already know: he's an absolute angel. Once he feels comfortable, his gentle, loving personality shines through. He enjoys affection, likes being close to his people, and has a soft, sweet nature that's impossible not to fall in love with.While some dogs make a big first impression, Nemo is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. He is incredibly smart, loyal, and affectionate once he trusts you. Because of his anxiety and reactivity, he takes time to warm up to new people and does best as the only pet in the home. We recently brought home a puppy hoping Cash would enjoy having a companion. Despite a lot of research, training, and patience, it’s become clear that Cash is happiest in a home where he doesn’t have to share his space. This decision has been heartbreaking, but we want to do what’s best for both dogs. We believe Cash would thrive with someone who has experience with reactive dogs and can give him the love, patience, and consistency he deserves. He has so much love to give and will be an incredibly loyal companion to the right person. Cash needs a securely fenced yard and someone who is home at least part of the time.
