If you are looking for an easy small dog- keep scrolling. Onyx is around 5 yrs old and 7.5 lbs. she is vaccinated and chipped and her 4DX is all negative. However, while we believe she is spayed we have no record of that and she doesn’t have a tattoo. She will be adopted out as a foster to adopt and if she does come into heat this year the rescue will cover cost of spay. She is a very feisty and terrier minded Chihuahua. She will be best suited as an only dog and in a home where she can be walked a few miles a day, she WILL BITE if stressed or upset. She WILL BARK at people that come into your home. It’s entirely possible she could bite if provoked. She is otherwise very affectionate and adores her people. Could develop some separation anxiety issues so will need to be monitored for that. She rides well in a car, preferably in your lap looking out the window. If you feel you are up for a pocket rocket submit an application or send us a message. We don’t do meetings unless app is done.

Frida is about 8 months old and about 12 lbs. We think she is a JRT/Chihuahua Mix - Just a Guess! Frida is a sweet, cautious and playful pup. She LOVES to be her foster dad's companion and attends barber shop appointments, shopping duties and just going wherever he needs to go. Frida also enjoys stroller rides - lol. Frida is wonderful with the two large dogs in her foster. She wants to play just like the "big dogs". Frida is good with the resident cats, but if there are cats in her forever home they should be dog savvy and know how to put a dog in her place:) Frida is doing great on house training, but needs a consistent schedule. Frida is not a pup who will tolerate being alone during the day as she enjoys running errands and laying on your lap while you work. Frida is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Sawyer came from a hoarding situation. He is a bit shy but with the help of our staff and a loving adopter he will make a great addition to any family. He needs to interact with people as he didn't get much interaction in the situation he was in. We are working on leash and potty training. He is 7 years old and fully vetted, heart worm negative and microchipped. He is in need of a loving family to love him so he can show them his love as well. Sweet little Bea was running around rural Georgia with her sidekick for several weeks after apparently being dumped. Everybody in the area said they were friendly, but no one knew them so they called animal control. The girls were very bonded at first, but we feel like their first love is people. They want to love people and be loved so badly but when they didn’t have any people, they became very attached to each other. Her sidekick has now found her forever home and it’s Miss Bea’s turn now. She’s exceptionally sweet and outgoing. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She also loves to snuggle on the couch. Bea is 22 pounds and between four and five years old. WE ARE ONLY GUESSING AT HER BREED! She does not really have a JRT temperament but she has the size and cute little short tail. She is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm tested negative. She appears to be a very healthy and happy girl. Coco is a 3-4 yr old girl weighting 28 lbs. Available to go home early march she is finishing up her heartworm treatment. She is spayed, vaccinated, chipped and fully treated for heartworm disease. She is dog friendly, but bossy. Having raised a few litters while in Louisiana she doesn’t tolerate dogs being disrespectful to her and prefers dogs of similar behaviors. House trained and rides well in a car, good on a leash. Does have some prey drive so will need to be trained to live with cats. Fine around kids.
