Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beau Background Beau came to us with all of his siblings from an animal hoarder's home in California. He is the last of his litter who needs a home. Beau is neutered and up to date. What Beau Needs Beau is initially shy but opens up to a sweet and loving, friendly 2-year-old boy. Beau is a Jack Russell-Papillon mix known as a Papi-Jack. He is used to an all-female household and does not do well with men so a woman-only home is best. He needs a yard for sunning and to potty. Beau prefers to have 1-2 dog friends to thrive as he has had other dogs with him his whole life. Beau  was rescued from a hoarding situation and is used to being part of a larger dog group so having a friend or two is critical to his well-being. If you are seeking a lover boy who wants to be with you everywhere, is super playful, and loves having a buddy dog to be close to, Beau is your boy. Beau has a medium long soft silky fur coat. Beau does best when he is kept well-groomed, brushed, and bathed. He just adores being clean and brushed. Beau loves attention, being talked to, and hugs.  He is housebroken but has also learned how to use a Peepad as a backup if needed. Beau is intelligent, lovingly gentle, and protective. He becomes very close to his special person. Beau does become a watchdog if you have company so he will need a nice quiet place he can retire to if you have guests and people he has not been properly introduced to in the home.               Beau is shy at first and does best with only 1-2 people. He becomes a lap dog, hugger, and kisser once he knows he can trust his humans. Beau likes all small dogs he has met and has done well with a few older lab puppies we have brought in and engages them in play. He is a healthy boy. He does need a cat and a small animal-free home due to the prey drive of Jack Russells, he has cleaned the house of visiting mice and moles on the rescue property. Beau is shy at first and will not approach would-be adopters at the rescue. Once he is settled in a home, he will take to his new female adopter quickly and bond deeply. (He may take to a male human with time and patience) Rompin Paws will work with you on proper introductions to the home and help him decompress and settle in. Beau is such a cuddly boy and lover once he decides you are his person, he is truly yours. He loves to follow me around the home and will put his paws on my leg when he wants to be picked up. He loves to roll over for belly rubs, be picked up and held and he loves to wrap his front legs around your neck and give hugs.    How To Adopt Beau   Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for this pup.  If it looks like a match can be made, then the next step is a meet and greet. Please use a computer as tablets and cell phones will drop the application. Beau has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition for his and his new buddies.  To apply to adopt Beau he has a $550.00 adoption fee.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.                      https ://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 23, 2023, 4:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.AXEL Background Axel was rescued from a high-kill shelter and was adopted into a home with Children and other dogs. Axel is not doing well with all of the High energy activities and many children coming and going constantly, as the resident children have very active social lives and high-energy activities. Axel is seeking an adult-only and perhaps female-only family to give him the calm and safety he seeks. Axel is a 2-year-old Jack Russell and Italian Greyhound mix boy. He is neutered, up-to-date, and shy. What Axel needs Axel is a sweet boy seeking a calmer, quieter home where he can relax and be himself. With his current high-energy home and people coming and going all the time, he is always on edge and agitated. He needs an animal-free home where he can just be himself and have 1-2 people he can get to know, learn to trust, and be best friends with. Axel has stranger danger fear, which means when new people come into the home, he becomes fearful and feels he has to protect his humans and his toys or go hide. He needs a quieter home with dog-savvy, rescue-savvy people who can work with axel to build a loving bond and let him know he is safe and will be well-loved and cared for furever. Once Axel is settled and develops a bond with his new humans, he becomes a lap dog, hugger, and kisser and seeks out love and attention.   Once he is settled in a home, he will take to his new female adopter quickly and bond deeply. Rompin Paws will work with you on proper introductions to the home and help him decompress and settle in. Once Axel decides you are his person, he is truly yours. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.EUSTIS Background BEST LOYAL BUDDY EVER!! Eustis is a "designer" breed called a MinnieJack (miniature Pinscher-Jack Russell mix) who was locally relinquished by a mom of 5 kids and one on the way. She told us her children tortured the dog and he was left constantly trying to defend himself. Eustis needs a child-free home as he is now Terrified of children. What Eustis Needs                                                                                  A 100 percent child-free home.   This means, NO visiting kids of any kind, no grandchildren. JUST an adult-only home. He was terrorized, chased, and teased in his home and he resorted to snapping and biting to protect himself. In other words, Eustis needs a quiet, loving adult-only home without a lot of people coming and going and when there are visitors, he should be in a safe place until they are inside and settled and then proper introductions are made. Eustis loves to be very, very close to his person and likes the close physical contact, a lap, and sleeping with his person at nite. We are not sure if he is leash trained and may need to be trained to harness and lead in his new home. A secure, protected, unescapable fenced yard is a must.  It took me two weeks of sitting in a quiet room with Eustis. Once he learned to trust me, it was three slow days of interactions and then he was in my lap. Now he sleeps with me nightly and we cuddle during the day. Eustis just wants unconditional love and he returns it in spades.   A sweet, gentle souled woman who considers herself a dog whisperer would be the ideal adopter for Eustis. How To Adopt Eustis Eustis has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition for him.                To apply to adopt Eustis he has a $495.00  adoption fee.                                                                                All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. to meet and apply for Eustis, Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.                                    http s:/ / rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 23, 2023, 4:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Roxxy is a very special puppy found abandoned on a desert road at 3 months of age. She is approx 4.5-5 months old and weighs 8 pounds. Roxxy loves kids and people but needs slow introductions with other dogs. She has resource guarding issues we are working on from having to scrap for food before being rescued.  Roxxy is most likely a Jack Russell-Chihuahua mix. (a popular designer breed called a Jackchi) I.E she is incredibly intelligent. Roxxy will need a person who understands the breed, and their need for a lot of mental and physical stimulus to be happy. Roxxy would make an excellent agility course dog as she loves to climb as seen in the first video. She will need a nice yard to run and play when she is not adventuring with her human. Currently Roxxy lives with the fosters two personal dogs and Maui her foster brother-whom she adores and they may be adopted together. Roxxy will do very well with a dog friendly small dog as a companion. Roxxy has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition for her and her new buddies. To apply to adopt Roxxy she has a $550.00 adoption fee.
