Monty and his brother were abandoned on a rural road and while both were afraid to be captured, Mr. Personality, Monty, took the leap of faith and went for help. Monty has a mission to fulfill. He wants to bring love and adventure to his people. He is your constant companion, your wingman. He is fully vetted, neutered, and eager to please. Monty adores people and is good with other dogs, preferably dogs who appreciate his youthful energy. He would also be fine being the only pet. He really wants a human to love! Loves water, is athletic and shows signs of being very trainable. Monty is approximately 1 year old and 70 pounds. References and rehoming fee required.

Harper is a 3 year old Lab/Rottweiler mix who is very energetic and playful! This lady has a larger-than-life personality that goes well with her larger stature. Harper weighs 75 lbs and stands about hip high to most adults. This sweet, spunky girl needs a home with a fenced in yard and lots of room to run. Because running is Harper's favorite activity! Harper needs lots of exercise to keep up with her high energy levels. Harper is very smart and just needs someone to show her the ropes to her new life, then we know she will be a wonderful dog for someone!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.  June 7, 2023, 11:07 pm

Phantom is a 9.5 month old Lab/Schnauzer who is a little shy at first, but very sweet overall! Phantom loves being outside and playing in the yard. Phantom came in with a male dog who has since been adopted, but she might be okay with dogs in the home. We still suggest a meet-n-greet in case you have other dogs. Phantom needs a family with patience to let her warm up and learn to trust people, but even though she is shy, she is still full of love to offer!Irene has recently been treated for heartworms and will require limited activity for the next few weeks.
