Story
With a sad heart we are choosing to rehome our 3 year old labradoodle Cubby. We originally got Cubby as a puppy. At this time we only had one 3 year old child. However, as our family grew to now having three littles, we have come to notice and accept, that Cubby would do better in a no child household. Cubby is not a typical up beat labradoodle. He is more shy and reserved, making it harder for him to make friends with other animals, but also just being around the constant noice and chaos that comes with having little kids. Cubby likes to just lay and be. He likes to play fetch, go on walks and just simply lay by your feet all day long. He needs a companion to just be best friends with and love on. You need: Fenced in yard Home for most of the day No other animals or small kids in homeHave had other dogs beforeSerious inquiries only.

Story
Sasha is a Shar-Pei/Lab mix. When she was younger, she had Entropion Surgery to fix her eyelids from folding in due to her wrinkles in her face. Sasha was taken in as foster 5 years ago. Due to my busy schedule now, she doesn't get the attention she deserves. Sasha is very good with people and wants all the loving she can get. Sasha would do best with larger dogs as she is a bit of a bull and can play rough. She is crate trained and house broken and very food motivated. Sasha loves to go on walks but sitting on the couch and literally watching TV is her favorite. Sasha is such a loving companion who would probably shine best as an only dog.

Story
MEET BUBBA — 3 YEARS OLD, LAB/PYRENEES MIX Some dogs walk into your life, and you can immediately feel how badly they want to belong. Bubba is one of them. This big, gentle boy came from Louisiana and was surrendered to the shelter with two other dogs when his owner could no longer afford to care for them. He didn’t understand why everything familiar disappeared overnight — he just knew he had to start over. Today, Bubba is finally safe, secure, and understood. He is around 70 pounds and working his way back to his healthy weight of about 80 pounds. He’s a big, loving Lab/Pyrenees mix with the sweetest soul. He is excellent in the house — fully pottytrained, quiet, and not destructive. He doesn’t chew, and he’s not a fan of wood floors. Putting a few throw rugs down helps him feel more confident and comfortable moving around the home. He absolutely loves being outdoors and enjoys both dog and cat friends. He needs room to run, so a secure fenced yard is required. He is more comfortable with women than men. Being pulled by a collar or leash scares him, so he must be walked on a harness. He is a very good boy: shy, timid, and gentle. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. A potential adopter must be patient and allow him at least two weeks to acclimate. The ideal home is someone retired or home most of the day, with another friendly dog to help him feel secure. Bubba is a shadow dog — the kind who follows you from room to room, grateful just to be near someone who cares. He doesn’t ask for much, just kindness, consistency, and a family who will not give up on him. Bubba has some teeth that are ground down, likely from chewing on something rough during a difficult period in his past. Dogs who are tied out sometimes chew to get off the chain. The good news is that he has no pain and eats normally. It’s simply a reminder of what he has overcome and how ready he is for a better life. Bubba has tested positive for heartworm. He shows no symptoms and is currently on slowkill treatment. All necessary medications will be provided to the adopter, and additional details about his care will be shared once an application is submitted. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. ADOPTION CRITERIA:- No crating; use a baby gate if not home- Fenced backyard required (no invisible fences)- Someone who is home more during the day- Children must be 7 years of age or older Bubba is being fostered in Oceola, Indiana. His adoption fee is $300. Please submit an application on our website:www.indianasaveadog.com  ##2696542##

Story
Four labby babies came from a loud, overcrowded shelter where everything felt scary — the barking, the concrete, the chaos, the constant movement. and they shut down the way sensitive puppies often do at shelters. Now that they’re safe, everything is slowly changing. They’re still timid with new people and new environments, but every day they take another brave step forward. Soft voices, slow movements, gentle hands, and calm routines have helped them discover toys, treats, and the comfort of being held. They’re learning that humans can be safe, predictable, and kind. These puppies are sweet, gentle, and deeply sensitive, and they will absolutely blossom in the right home. WHAT THEY NEED:• A patient adopter who understands shy puppies  • Slow introductions to new experiences  • A calm home without overwhelming chaos  • Time, reassurance, and positive guidance  • Another friendly dog is a bonus but not required   If you’ve been waiting for a chance to help a puppy truly start over, these labby babies are ready for their new beginning. They may be shy at first, but once they trust you, they melt into your arms and show you the softest, sweetest love. They currently use a pet door in their foster home to go outside for potty breaks, which helps them understand that potty happens outdoors and makes their transition easier, even if you don’t have a pet door. She uses a baby gated area off the kitchen when she can't be watched, or no one is home  ADOPTION CRITERIA A fenced-in backyard is required for all puppies. An adult who is home during the day and able to devote consistent time to a puppy. No crating for puppies — use a puppy pen or baby gate for safe confinement. Puppy is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Puppy will not be neutered before adoption. Adopter will sign a spay/neuter agreement and may qualify for a $100 spay/neuter rebate once the procedure is completed. Please submit an application on our website: www.indianasaveadog.com  Her adoption fee is $350. ##2782773##
