Story
Hello, our 18 month old Lab/cattle dog mix is in need of rehoming. As much as it breaks my heart to do this she has begun to show signs of littermate syndrome. I kept her and her sister from the litter they were born from and Delilah will try to fight with her sister. I have tried everything I know to correct this situation but sadly I have not been able to restore peace amongst this pack. I am looking for someone who preferably doesnt have any other animals at all. Delilah is a very sweet, snuggly dog and she wants to be the center of attention. For this reason it is mine and my vets opinion she would do best in a home with no other animals. She is fully potty trained, eats Iams puppy food, and loves her chew toys and bones. On her own she is an amazing dog, with so much love to give, I want to see her happy and thriving so ideally someone who has experience with dogs who understands the transitions she will be making. It doesn't let me put her current weight but she is 52.2lbs.

Story
We adopted Tilly from Adopt-a-Pet in Fenton in October. She is a 4 year old Moyen Poodle. She was in a rescue/foster before coming to A-aPet. She had recently been spayed and showed signs of giving birth to a litter recently. We also feel she was kept in confinement, possibily a breeding facility, as had to be taught many regular dog skills. She has a very sweet demeanor. She can be frightened by noise and quick moves, she was underweight and needed grooming. We adore her. So, why are we rehoming her? We are 81 and 83, had many dogs. We realize to continue her journey of learning, she would be better suited a home with someone who is younger and has more energy, has experienced with a skittish dog and time to devote to her, + a dog who is calm and she could mimic. She is so gentle and learns fast. She did not know how to walk on a leash, come and go thru doors to outside. Never peed in grass. Still doesn't bark or like our cat! She weighs 28 LBs. Loving, sleeps with us!
