Story
Pippin is a sweet, playful dog who is house trained and has been through basic obedience. Fetch is his favorite activity. We are only rehoming him because after a year of trying he can't get over his fear of children and we have a toddler in the house. (So no kids please) He is great with dogs but loves to chase small animals. He has never lived with cats it might be possible I just don't know. He is a very sweet boy and gets really attached to his human. He follows me around like a shadow. He does have a bit of energy but a good walk and fetch is all he needs to spend the rest of the day with you on the couch.

Story
What a big cutie with a perfect sit! Rookie is estimated to be about 4 years old and weighs 75 pounds. Rookie sure is a handsome boy, with a goofy, confident, and intelligent personality. He is well-trained and already knows commands like "sit", "down," and even "paw." One of his favorite things is toys, which he will release with a firm "drop it", Rookie sure hopes you will want to play with him. What a snuggler too, he loves to lean into you for love and can’t wait to have a family to be close to. But Rookie can also have a more stubborn side to his personality, and he needs a strong leader who will set limits for him. Rookie will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old. If you're ready to welcome this sweet goofball into your life, please come and meet him, he can’t wait to find his forever home and be part of a loving family. If you are interested in Rookie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Enzo has been around kids his entire life and is very good with them! He is very energetic and playful and loves to be outside with his humans! He has been our only house pet for the entirety of his stay with us, but is never phased or bothered by the wildlife on our property (deer, turkey, rabbits, lots of birds, etc). He LOVES the water and has frequently been out to the lake on our boat. He's a high energy dog, but he equally loves to snuggle and relax.
