Story
Bruno has been an amazing dog. Our busy schedules have not allowed us to spend the time he needs with him. He is 4 years old and grew up with 2 babys, so he's great with kids. He does have some anxiety initially to new people but warms up quickly. He has been around many other dogs and enjoys playing with them. We are sad to see him go but we know it's for his best.

Story
MEET JAZZY - LOYAL, LOVING & READY TO FIND HER PERSON If you're looking for a devoted companion who would be perfectly happy sharing life's everyday moments by your side, Jazzy might just be your girl. Jazzy is a beautiful 2-year-old, 35-pound Labradoodle who found herself surrendered to an overcrowded shelter. Since moving into a foster home, we've had the opportunity to see what a truly sweet, calm, affectionate, and loyal companion she is. Jazzy may be a little hesitant with new faces at first, but give her a chance to get to know you, and you'll quickly see the loving girl underneath. Once you're part of her circle, you're HER person. She greets familiar faces with excitement, seeks out pets and affection, and loves spending quality time with the people she trusts. She's the kind of dog who doesn't need to be the center of attention - she simply wants to know she belongs. Jazzy would thrive in an active adult home with a generally calm and predictable lifestyle. She enjoys companionship and activity but also appreciates being able to settle in, relax, and enjoy the quieter parts of the day with her people. Jazzy previously lived as the only furry family member, so she's perfectly comfortable being your one and only. She has met other dogs and does well with calm, respectful canine companions who understand personal space. She isn't looking for a wrestling partner or a dog constantly in her face, but she can peacefully coexist with the right furry friend. She has displayed no interest in the felines she has met while in foster care. Around the house, Jazzy has demonstrated a good understanding of house manners. She's currently working on crate training but hasn't been destructive when left alone, so she may not necessarily need to be crated long-term once she's settled into her new routine. Jazzy prefers leash walks over spending time in the secured fenced yard. She enjoys sniffing about to enjoy all the smells the world has to offer. She is NOT a candidate for a tether, and we do not believe that she would adhere to an invisible fence, especially if spooked. As a Labradoodle, Jazzy will require routine professional grooming and regular coat maintenance to keep her comfortable and looking her best. What Jazzy is really looking for is pretty simple: someone to call her own. A person or family who will give her a little time to get acquainted, then happily accept all the loyalty, companionship and love she has waiting to give. Once Jazzy decides you're her person, we have a feeling she'll be the kind of dog who sticks by your side through it all. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different. While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program. FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. ##2803273##

Story
Got Franklin in December of 2025 he was born in October of 2025. He's a somewhat trained dog he still for some reason though has accidents here and there in the house. He knows some tricks paw, sit, lay down, spin, and jump. He has been around two dogs and has shown no aggression to them except for when on a walk he tends to bark at other dogs and pull the leash. His walking out in public on a leash he’s very hyper and hard to have stay still or by your side constantly pulling. He has been with a cat inside our house that he constantly chases never bite but has chase he has been around my 4 month old son as well but I don’t leave the two unintended and here’s why I left for vacation and had my mom watched him while away and two times he has like shown aggressive behavior to her as well as to my wife coming back from our vacation with his food. Never food with me but too her once I don’t trust this dog to being in my house and I’m looking for someone that will train him and keep him

Story
Ivy is a mini labradoodle weighing around 27 lbs. Ivy is a very active dog who loves to fetch a ball and a soft frisbee. She loves to run. She is very smart. Ivy is usually good with other dogs, but can take a breaking in period. She loves little kids. Ivy benefits from regular excercise. She can be cuddly in the morning and evenings, but would prefer to play and chew on some toys during the day. She loves to chase squirrels and most wildlife. Not a good tracker so no worries there. Ivy tends to get anxious and will bark around new people and dogs. If she has her barking collar on or training collar she is fine, but knows the difference. I believe some focused training that could be corrected. I no longer have the patience or the focus. Ivy would be good for a more active people/family, preferably with a big fenced in yard or at least room to run.
