Meet Winnie!
Winnie is an adorable Labradoodle puppy born July 28, 2026, and she is ready to find a family to grow up with! Her mama is a purebred Yellow Labrador Retriever and her dad is a Labradoodle, giving Winnie a fun mix of Lab sweetness and Doodle charm.
Like any young puppy, Winnie is still a blank slate with plenty to learn. Her future family should be prepared for all the normal puppy adventures—house training, crate training, leash training, chewing, teething, socialization, and learning good manners. Puppies require patience, consistency, structure, and plenty of time and attention, so Winnie is looking for a family that is home more often than not and ready to make her an active part of their everyday life.
Winnie has plenty of typical puppy energy and is still learning appropriate boundaries with her canine friends. Because of this, she would not be a good match for a senior dog who may not appreciate an energetic youngster constantly trying to play, climb, wrestle, or invade their personal space. A younger, playful, puppy-tolerant canine companion would be a much better fit.
Families with young children should also keep in mind that Winnie is currently in the teething stage. Like most puppies, she explores the world with her mouth and may use those sharp little puppy teeth during play. Interactions with young children should be closely supervised while Winnie learns appropriate play and develops better impulse control.
Winnie is at the perfect age to begin learning about the world around her. Continued positive socialization and puppy training classes are strongly encouraged to help her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. Of course, her puppy days will also include plenty of playing, exploring, zoomies, naps, snuggles, and probably a little mischief along the way!
Because of her Labradoodle heritage, Winnie will require regular professional grooming throughout her life, along with routine brushing at home to keep her coat healthy and free of mats. Her adult size and exact coat type cannot be guaranteed, but with a Labrador Retriever mama and Labradoodle dad, adopters should be prepared for a medium-to-large adult dog.
Winnie isn't looking for someone who just wants an adorable puppy—she's looking for a family ready to make a lifelong commitment through puppyhood, adulthood, and her golden years.

Winnie can go home with his new family in foster-to-adopt status until her spay surgery has been completed at 6 months (October 2026) of age at one of our partner Veterinary offices (Chesterfield, Clawson, Clinton Twp, or Rochester), which is included in the adoption fee and is non-negotiable.

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
