Story
Woof! Hey there, folks! My name is Archer, and I'm here to tell you all about myself. I’m a 14-month-old Doodle, weighing in at 50 pounds. I'm SO ready to find my forever home or a loving foster family to shower with love and affection. Now, let's get to the good stuff! I may not know exactly why I was surrendered, but I'm an optimistic boy who always looks on the bright side of things. I've got a wagging tail and a heart full of love just waiting to be unleashed on my new family. One thing you should know about me is that I'm a social butterfly. I've got a friendly and playful nature that makes it easy for me to get along with everyone I meet- humans and canines. You know what else? I've got a knack for bringing joy to those around me. My goofy grin and infectious enthusiasm can turn any frown upside down. I need a foster or forever home where I can thrive and be showered with all the love and care I deserve. If you're searching for a loyal and friendly sidekick, look no further! I'm Archer, the happy-go-lucky Doodle, eagerly awaiting my next adventure with you. Let's embark on this journey together, shall we? Archer is available for adoption but is also in need of a foster home. To Adopt, please complete the adoption application here: https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application To Foster, please complete the foster application here: https://anewchancear.org/foster/fostering-application/ Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Meet Zuri! This beautiful little girl is a 10 week old female Lab, Poodle, Shar Pei mix. NOT CONSIDERED HYPOALLERGENIC OR NON-SHEDDING since we don't know full lineage. She is super friendly and loves just about everyone and everything she meets. She loves to snuggle and wants to be with you at all times. She never turns down a good belly rub. She loves to play and is full of puppy energy. She would make a great addition to a family with an active lifestyle! She is currently located down South at our sister shelters and available for pre-adoption. We do transports to NJ once a month. She can't wait to find her forever home!

Story
Rio loves other dogs - he is a playgroup superstar. Rio is great with everyone at shelter too! We do not know what he thinks of cats. When Rio was brought in (to a high kill shelter) by his owner who admitted to kicking him and rubbing his face in pee! What could Rio have done to deserve such treatment we don't know. All we can do is to help this fursonality + boy find a new loving family that deserves him. Rio is about 1.5 years old and 71 pounds. Don't miss out on Rio and put your app in today to meet him! We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. I'm Brandon and I'm a very sweet 6 month boy! I was part of a litter of labradoodles but I didn't get much of the doodle so my siblings were adopted before me. That's OK because I've been living a good life in a rescue where I've been housebroken & learned to play great with other pups! I love people and dogs. Come get me...I'm sweet, kind and playful!

These pups are in Beacon, New York too!

Email info@rescuepooches.com for an application Hello! I am looking for my forever home! I'm seven months old. All of my siblings have been adopted! The rescue isn't exactly sure what the mix is, but it is definitely hound! I will most likely be a medium sized adult, but they don't know for sure. I am currently in a home with other dogs, outdoor cats, and grandchildren. So, I am socialized! I am your typical happy go lucky puppy and ready for a home to call my very own! My foster will be part of the interview process and she will provide potential adopters with additional photos and video. Right now, he is being fostered in Tennessee. The rescue lists in areas where transport is available. They use safe USDA licensed dog transports that will bring him to their new family, once they are adopted! Once you send an application, the rescue will contact you for an interview and be able to send more photos and even videos He is neutered and UTD on all required vaccinations. He is microchipped and on flea preventative. Please, you MUST click the following link BEFORE emailing for further information.
