Story

Oliver is a very sweet, friendly 4 year old labradoodle. My ex partner and I got him from a breeder (Labradoodles of Long Island) when we were living together in Long Island and he came home at 7 weeks. He is very very good with house training, has never bitten another dog or human, and overall has a great temperament but he is a jumper. He is the love of my life but, since my partner and I separated, he has not done well in a small apartment without outdoor space. Due to the separation I also need to go back to in person work and am just generally unable to meet his needs. He would do very well in a home with more space, kids, other dogs (maybe not cats but he isn't aggressive with them). He does have chronic gastritis / GI issues but I would be willing to contribute to any vet bills if I can keep in touch with him. Up to date on all vaccinations, recently had a full blood work panel, and dental cleaning. I have many more photos that I am not able to upload.. just ask!

Alice is a sweet 7 year old, 38 pound Labradoodle. Rescued from a puppy mill, she had a very difficult life and is now discovering all the wonderful things the world has to offer. Alice is truly as sweet as can be and has a very soulful and gentle nature. She would thrive in a quiet, patient home that can help her continue to flourish. Alice is crate trained and working on her house training. She enjoys going for walks and is great on the leash. Don’t you want to help this girl experience the good life? Sammy is a loving, affectionate, and cuddly 4-year-old Labradoodle (65 lbs) who bonds closely with her people and loves long walks and time outdoors. She is house trained, listens well, up to date on vaccines, and gets along great with other animals. Sammy has a lot of energy and would thrive with an active owner and a home with more space or ideally a yard. Sammy also has OCD and can become intensely focused on shadows and reflections, which requires patience and an owner who understands and can manage this behavior. She is intersex (hermaphrodite) and we are currently working with the Animal Medical Center in NYC regarding possible spay options. We live in a small Midtown apartment with two young children and sadly cannot give her the space she deserves. Midtown Manhattan — no rehoming fee. Personality & Characteristics:Br'er is a truly wonderful, sweet dog. He is great with other dogs and cats, and just loves getting pets and cuddles. He has good leash manners (we are working on heeling to one side and making progress!) Br'er is a fantastic walking and running buddy and makes my daily lap around Central Park so much more fun. He is house trained and goes to the bathroom outside with no issue, except the fact that he prefers to do his business on grass as opposed to the concrete. He can be left alone during the work day and sleeps through the night. Not a huge fan of his crate but will get in if coaxed with treats. Br'er is genuinely such a loving and friendly dog and would make any family so happy. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. There was no separation, no guarding… just shared motherhood, trust, and pure instinct. It was one of the most beautiful things I’ve witnessed in rescue. Bella herself is what I like to call the best breed of all—an All-American mutt. We see a little Lab, maybe some Aussie, and a sprinkle of whatever else life added in. But what really defines her isn’t her mix—it’s her heart. When Bella first arrived, she was very timid. You could see she hadn’t been shown kindness by the people who should have protected her. And yet… she allowed us to handle her, care for her, and help her babies. That kind of quiet trust, even through fear, tells you everything about who she is.
